Have the server gotten worse or do i have just luck?

Since weeks i noticed a increasing number of killers that regularly hit into nothing even if they stand close to me. The killers dont have high ping warnings and based on their ingame hours (2k+) it's highly unlikely they are just bad. On the survivor side i see a lot more non visually connecting hits.
Has anyone had similar experiences?

Servers are usually having problems but they've been exceptionally bad recently.
