How are we liking the new map so far ?

What do you guys think about the new map ?

I hated it in PTB but there's much less clutter now so I like it a lot more. I got a protection hit by jumping off the main building's roof and it was quite fun.

I saw some people hated it but not me, i really loved this new map so much. Different theme, different loops. Map is feels pretty fresh.

It's so restrictive for most killers due to all the clutter...

That main building is super annoying, you can't really chase effectively through there, so that's a free gen on top. Some Weird map clutter too, Not too bad on Artist, but my poor Dredge hates it here.

I actually think it's really nice visually. I find myself stopping to look at things all the time. The shadow that we see of a flying creature, I thought it was just a shadow but looked up once and there actually is something flying through the sky. I also like that weird bulb thing that sprinkles water lol the sounds are nice too - very ASMR in some places

    Wacky junk pile.

I like it visually and the loops aren't bad either, I think. However, it's still hard to track blood and scratch marks and the collisions and LoS blockers are an issue for quite a few killers. I know it must be depressing to change so much from a map you created but really. No matter how nice it is for some killers as long it's disgusting for others, it's not a good map.

    It's a nice looking map.

As for how it plays, I'm not too sure how I feel about it yet. Still need to play survivor.

Visuals and audio I absolutely love. Most unique map in the game. They did a great job

I haven't played on it enough to judge gameplay/balance yet but I've enjoyed my matches as survivor so far.

I love it when playing survivor.

I hate it when playing killer.

Am I the only one who really struggles to track survivors on this map? The colour scheme pops more than the Borgo but it is also very red and pink based with a lot of darker textures on the ground. I will sometimes see an injured survivor run but only because I am tracking movement rather than scratchmarks or blood - and no, none of them were running the relevant perks that van hide/obscure these. Yes, it's visually really cool and so is the Borgo, actually but I have no idea who keeps coming up with maps that have a reddish (+ pink/burnt orange) colour scheme for this particular game.

Speaking of which, the amoung of times I saw the movement of the flying creature's shadow and thought it must be survivor moving in the corner of my FOV. This is a kind of fun feature.

And yes, the main building is extremely save but I also had the issue that it takes too long to check on the generator at the top and if it's being worked at. At least in places like Dead Dawg I can visually check if someone is on the generator and then make an informed decision if it's worth heading up there or not. I'm deaf though, I'm curious if hearing people would actually hear if someone is on the generator from the bottom floors?

It's really great, artistically. The decluttering that was done has improved the map, whilst it has still retained all its character.

I feel this is a well done and creative map.

Beautiful map, very colorful. That being said it's way too busy for my eyes. A lot of sounds too which sucks for the killer side.

I think what ive seen so far its more survivor sided map.

Behaviour knows how to make beautiful maps, but they are making them too busy and cluttered.

It looks awesome, certainly has the feel of an alien world, and even the buildings look cool. Layout-wise it's... I mean not Garden of Joy-level awful buuut not far off either.

Visually - hit out of the ball park.

    Design wise - horrible.

Aesthetically, its gorgeous. Once again the art team has outdone themselves.

Gameplay wise? Loathe it. While they decluttered it a bit, its still a mess. Very hard to track scratch marks and blood on the map. Easy to lose survivors due to all the different colors camouflaging them. The main building is actually insane. It feels like the map is huge as well, but that might just be an optical illusion thing.

Overall, it just feels like all the actual fun killers are going to be bad on this map and all the killers that remain won't be able to have enough pressure due to the size and the amount of pallets and safe loops. Ran out of pallets? Just run to the main building because even without pallets its Garden of Pain house levels of ridiculous. Also, unsafe loops tend to feel safe due to the collision being incredibly weird on the various plants however that can be fixed.

Didn't get much expirience as most people were using map offerings yesterday for some reason.

So, the map looks cool, but i always feel lost of where you are. It's cluttered and hard to understand.

The loops felt good as survivor, but without windows i just don't understand what some structures are.

I would say that the map is probably good for stealth killers

We dislike some of the loops as killer (double window to pallet) but it looks stunning. It even is slightly interactive (shot a plant and it got ....sad?)

I honestly don't really like any aspects of it.

I think the art style is somewhat cool but its way too colorful and busy for my eyes, it's hard to distinguish what's an obstacle and what is simply flora.

The shadow of the bird flying around above is very distracting as killer. I keep thinking it's a survivor.

Most beautiful map in the game, however it's one of the largest maps, has a HUGE main building, the loops are a bit weird, and LOS blockers/locker spawns suck .

Love the sounds on the map and how it's a space vibe , but man are there's alot of things for sneaky survivors to hide behind.

I hate it , hitboxes are bad on many areas (atleast with range killers and blight) , main building without atleast 1 level of bloodlust or a vault speed perk as killers becomes a infinite and even worst with balance landing . there is areas that can spawn with multiple long safe pallet next to each others and others that spawn only one into a 20 meters of deadzones , the map hurts my eyes when tracking survivors or the killer, the ambient sounds of the map are SOOOO loud (plants , objects , rocks, etc) , at the point that it literally can hide footsteps and confuse you if you heared an actual survivor or if it is just the ambient sound.

    agreed.
