Bloodpoint bonus is weird

Survival 100% bonus, mean lack of survivor, should be able to find a match very fast, but it take 2 minute.
Killer doesn't have bonus, but immediately enter a match with 4 survival.
Wondering is others having the same experiences?

Probably it's the lack of survivors, but not at your MMR

I've had a weird experience with that. I've over 4K hours and my 10 yo niece has 4 hours, she always has survivor bonus, and I rarely have it. When I join her, I get survivor bonus, but when she joins me, we both get none.
I was told it's MMR related, but I still don't understand what's truly going on. Like I need ELI5 haha.
