Survivor body blocks me... with devour hope active!
Survivor players in DBD, PLEASE learn how to read your situations better. This happened on the RPD map against a ghost face with devour hope. The survivor playing Lisa Garland body blocked me in this area for about a minute after following me around when I unhooked them. I think this was Wesker's room in the STARS office. The problem is right when I unhooked them devour hope activated and gave everyone the exposed status effect. There was no point in healing at this point but Lisa insisted on following me around until I decided to heal them. I found a totem in this area and since I was using counterforce I was going to cleanse it to help me find devour hope. The only problem is Lisa decided to body block me here until I healed them to full. This is the most reckless match throwing behavior I have ever seen. When devour hope gets to the exposed status stage you have to find that totem fast or its game over. I would assume someone who has the Lisa Garland skin would by now know about this hex or the exposed status effect, but I guess they didn't or simply didn't care.
The point of this post is to simply let survivor players know that playing like this and being petty about it by body blocking your team is one of the many reasons why you don't escape. You have to read your situations better and make better choices in moments like this. Don't waste time healing when everyone is exposed. Use that time to get rid of the hex first and then go back to altruism. Thankfully the killer decided to go easy on us after another survivor disconnected. Lisa Garland decided to do nothing but moonwalk all over the map while I had the joy of repairing 3 generators by myself. I think ghost face caught on after a bit and decided to down and hook Lisa. I did find the DH totem and managed to escape through the hatch. I just feel like there is such a lack of urgency and understanding of critical situations in this game. I come across so many survivors who ignore so many things and it always ends with the match going poorly unless the killer shows mercy.
Also, please do something about this spot in RPD that can so easily be body blocked if a survivor or killer decides to go afk while you're cleansing a totem there.

I've legit hunted down survivors I come across who do this to their teammates.
Professionals have standards.

I've had many killer players go after survivors who do things like this. They know what they're up to. I always have a lot of respect for players who have an eye for these situations.

My favorite is catching them healing. I mean sure, everyone knows Hexes are weak. Being healthy will be great value once the only survivor looking for the totem finds it.

Playing devil's advocate here even if exposed is in play i still prefer to get healed, pain grunts will get you caught so easily.
Doesn't excuse them bodyblocking you though

Not saying in this situation they should've done this, but being fully healed eliminates sounds and blood pools which can help in winning chases, so healing is still recommended against devour

I disagree. Healing without medkits takes too long especially if the killer is using perks that slow it down. All 4 of us were injured and spread out except for the one survivor following me around. By the time we were all healed we'd probably all be dead. Its better to have all 4 survivors looking for the totem rather than wasting time doing anything else. It takes priority in this situation.

Some people just don't pay attention to their HUD. I've had players run at me plenty of times to try and body block or sabo a hook when I'm running starstruck builds. Sometimes multiple people running at me. It's a real facepalm moment lol
