I will Never Ever Understand This Logic
Last night i played against streamer. Ofcourse i did not know this before match over.
Anyway... I saw he is streamer and i wanted watch my match against him. Guy keep complained everything we used. OTR, Lithe, SB etc. He lost this turn and he blamed BHVR to favoring survivors.
I just checked his previous matches fastly before us. And guy won 11 games in row. He lost one and now game is survivor-side.
I don't think this game favors any side but killers have more wins and that's okey. This horror game and killer should be power role. But calling this game survivor-side is just ridicilous and some people really believes that.

Some people could win 50 times in a row but still complain about the game favoring the other side when they finally lose. It seems a lot of people don't understand that if the game was balanced they would lose a game out of two and think they're the exception that's so good they should never lose, because they can't fathom that their opponent(s) can also be just as good, just like way too many people believe they're in very high MMR.
Good for them to be (over)confident in their own skills ig, but it's a bit sad people think it's embarassing to be average considering most of us are lol.

That's honestly a very common logic loop humans have. Our brains are designed to be problem solvers. As long as you win it won't detect any problems.
The moment you lose it activates and frantically starts searching for what the problem is and for solutions and those solution very rarely look inside.
Confirmation bias kicks in and it forgets about the previous matches you did win cause it didn't recognise those as problems.
Displayed out and with balance in mind it seems very weird ofcourse but as far as how our brains work it's a very logical way of thinking.
Win is good, lose is bad, what prevents us from losing less . Balance is not part of that equation unless you force it in which most in the heat of the moment won't
That's why, no matter how much it's complained about, devs are 100% right about using stats to govern what needs changes and what not cause you can't trust the human brain to be unbiased.
DbD should honestly be in psychiology courses cause it's impressive how many biases and logic loop holes you can find in the avarage player

I don't think most of people on high mmr and it's okey tho. But some people really believes they are going against SWFs every match and their mmr is that high. Ofcourse not true.

Part 2 to this is people going on winstreaks to make themselves feel good about their skill, and then complaining when the game pushes back and gives them stronger opponents.
One of my friends went on a super sweaty 100 winstreak on Nurse, took a break from the game, and now is like "why doesn't the game know I just want to chill now ?" "why are survivors so strong"
Maybe because you went on an rampage and now your mmr is super high and out of your comfort zone ? If you sweat that hard to increase your mmr, when you want to go back to casual you'll have to eat humble pie, it's just how the system works...

Yeah, back before I started recording my own game results I used to think things like camping and tunnelling happened alot more to me than they actually did. I like taking note of various aspects of my matches as it takes the emotion out of it and keeps things in perspective.

Well other than against nurse and blight the game is SWF sided.

Not all SWFs are that great. If that was true, stats would not favour killers.
People are just overacting about SWFs. Good solo team can beat you as well. Even average team can beat you if you make mistakes.

Yeah happens alot.
You get survivors who either are god tier at loops and saves, die a lot due to dumb choices, or get tunneled
Then you get killers who are very skilled, like to tunnel, or play fair.
Overall every match is different so they need to expect that not every match will be in their favor
