I honestly havent even started the new challenges yet, a lot has been going on with my life, but Ill try my best to get the community stuff done as soon as I can though.

I wish they didn't make them gold emblem challenges. Feel like that's why it's moving so slow, people don't actually understand what's needed for gold emblems. It's also going to make the matches WAY more sweaty when people are going for the gold unbroken/devout.
Wish the community challenges on second page were more event oriented instead like collect X invitations, activate any invitation effects X times, finish X event gens/hook survivors on X event hooks.

I’d say the biggest thing is that you can only contribute 3 to a total of a million.
But then, we may also be seeing the effects of people clearing the bottom half of the tome first because those give you the immediate rewards, and then the top half to finish it off.
though that may also be me on hopium

No lie, the top of page two is dragging. If BHVR cut the total amount required for all of the community entries in half it would still shut a lot of people out. I don't know why they estimate these figures way too high. They should be able to see the data on their end for what the average is in the game and plan accordingly.

First one needs 700k, currently it's at 686k. They didn't even adjust it to have it finally be finished. They should've also adjusted the emblem requirements to silver so it's more doable.
The last one for unbroken/devout I really see being a slog to get done even though it's now 75k. For every 1 gold emblem a killer contributes that's 3-4 survivors not being able to contribute to the challenge. It's a really bad challenge for the community when it has the community working against eachother to complete it.
We also have PTB with Nic Cage starting in couple days so that will be portion of the playerbase not even playing on live servers to contribute towards the challenges.

Basically if community wants these challenges done, it's best to let survivors contribute to it more, thus play super chill and let them do their stuff while do little to nothing as killer and just farm BPs with cakes.

If they just switched it to silver emblems then both sides could contribute every match. Killers can still kill survivors since survivors can get silver if they die, they just need to stay alive for 9 minutes. It also would make for less sweaty matches.
