Community Challenge: Repair or Raze
Yeah. I'm beginning to think that were not gonna get this one done during this Anniversary event. It's been on for couple of days now, and still were at only 387384 points. And the needed amount is 1 million(?!)

Probably someone at BHVR wanting to flex and show that the community cant beat ebery challenge. Theyve done this a few times before and its always annoying. Just makes it a waste of time

This. They shouldn't have done emblems, especially not gold emblems.
The community challenges should've been event related like collect invitations.

I don't even know why emblems are still a thing in this game. If this game has true skill-based matchmaking, then the emblems are meaningless. It also goes to show just how much a pain in the ass getting emblems are.
Personally, I'm getting fed up with playing as survivor in events like these because I'm tired of being required to either escape or get the gate open just to obtain event items. I've been playing for five matches in a row, and I haven't been able to make it to a single gate being opened. I stopped playing this game for a long time, and I think I'm going to go right back to doing just that. Dead by daylight is just not made for casual players.

This happened last year too where one of the challenges was like...an insane number of something or another.
Ultimately BHVR dropped the number
I kind of expect them to do the same here. They may also extend the event since I've heard from a lot of people the servers have been a dumpster fire since Squishy Robot joined the killer roster, though I personally have had zero issues with the servers

I've definitely heard people be like "Well we have 11 days calm down." Well, I'm personally worried. If it's taken 2.5 days to get halfway done with the first and the emblems they've chosen are theoretically going to get harder to obtain the gold, that math is not mathing. That's 5 days just to get done with one challenge. So out of 14 days that would leave 9. Let's say the difficulty is scaled to be the same so the devs have found the next challenge that needs less to match the difficulty of getting 1 million of lightbringer and gatekeeper. That means it'll probably take another 5 days to get done with the next. Now we're down to 4 days. Which means we won't finish the 3rd challenge by the time the event ends. Oh and a reminder that at Summer Game Fest they said PTB is happening the last week of the event which will slow it down EVEN MORE. Yeah, we're not getting these.

Yea, it's why first day I did 12 killer matches in a row, first thing I did ws get my invitation, THEN play the game normally, or maybe 8 hook. Maybe not. But yeah, just farm the event items on Killer as the killer is guaranteed to get one. You can literally log into the game on killer, grab an inviation, then go AFK and you'll get an event item. Note, I AM NOT saying that going AFK is okay unless you have a legit reason you have to, just saying the fact that you can do that as killer and be guaranteed an event item no matter what, but a survivor has to actually not die until the exit gates are open...

That's just how nuts it is with killer versus survivor when it comes to event items. I think it goes to show just how little people are playing killer if all killers have to do is grab a scroll, and then go AFK if they want to. It's crazy.

Yeah, it's not very motivating to see that there's barely any movement on this challenge. TBH, it was also really frustrating to do. I think everyone's trying to rush and block gens right now. After 6 matches as killer and survivor where I only got one gold, I gave up and played Skull Merchant to get the other two.
