Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Going Against Hillbilly Is Overrated

I'm sorry, but 99% of the time, the chases are almost the exact same as each other. You just hug the loop and turn the opposite side of where the killer turns. It's about reaction and at this point it's really just me looping the Billy for all 5 gens until either I go down from the NOED they always pack or they give up and run towards the gate. I'll admit I get a dopamine hit when I hear the saw, but only because I know it's gonna be an easy win with tons of chase points.

I can understand why he's loved, he's very simple to chase and there's no obnoxious, unfun anti loop like Artist or something, but I'd rather go against Bubba tbh, at least his saw is threatening.

I mean thats why he is so loved, he is easy af to loop and most of the time they are just trying to land like 2 cool saw hits per game so when you see a billy you know you will escape, therefore the match wont be stressing making it more fun for survivors. Not really much science in there.

Doesnt matter the killer really, if theyre inexperienced its not really fun

An experienced Billy however? On a good map for him? Thats a good time.

Part of it for me is that to actually grind Billy you will tend to have at least some level of humility as a player, as Billy in the modern day is pain. The Billy mains I know (there are only a couple) don't tunnel or camp and they play for sweet curves more than to win matches.

Billy mains tend to be some of the most fun and chilled out killer mains in DBD in my experience. There are exceptions but not many

There are some Billy players out there that will make you eat those words. If played perfectly he can be way more deadly than you think.

There are so few Billy mains that it probably is the same player everytime

Funner to face and play than most killers for me. I like the back and forth nature.

Well at the time he was actually good you didn't have overly long/round obnoxious loops on 50% of the map that made it really easy to play around a curving billy. They just keep adding maps/tiles that feel impossible to curve because its just a square or its so long.

considering every time I play against a hillbilly it’s a curve Billy so the gameplay is really samey

Give me someone doing a stealth hillbilly build now that would scare me

Ironically ive been experimenting with that with the new perk. But its pretty niche. So i just do it with tinkerer, plaything, dark devotion, and shadowborne.

Sadly, I've never been blessed with facing a good billy in my 2k hours of playing this game...

Of coarse the majority of people playing hillbilly currently are going to be bad with him because there’s an event challenge to where you need to kill all 4 survivors.

Most billys I play with just M1. I prefer a blight without speed addons.

Ugh, people really say anything. I remember when someone tried reported me for turning my "invisible hacks" on and off as Freddy before his rework.

unlike bubba , if the billy has insane control of his chainsaw but "INSANE" they can perform 1000 times better than bubba.

but thats the thing , not many player are masochist in terms of mastering billy ; and the other problem is that maps can be really be on your side or viceversa.

ohh yeah and the hitboxes on the newer maps makes any non-veteran billy player to give up at playing him.

Nah disagree someone thats mastered Billy is way scarier than someone thats mastered bubba. But Billy is way harder to play for most so your average Billy aint that strong.
