Buckle Up is getting a glow up

Upon healing a Survivor from the dying state, both you and the healed Survivor gain the Endurance status effect for 6/8/10 seconds.

Why is no one talking about this? I am all for it.

I don’t think people realize how strong haste and endurance will be in situations like this. Buckle Up is going to be very popular in anti slug builds for sure.

Buckle Up will finally have it's time to shine hehe!

That idea though sounds evil and I'm all in for it. I enjoy using Lucky Break so I must try that.

Is there going to be a change to this to account for the possibility of using this and For the People to insta heal and give both survivors Endurance? If they do make an adjustment, I hope they don't ruin synergy between For the People and WGLF. That combo is harder to set up and only the slugged survivor gets Endurance from it.

I would suggest adding a stipulation to Buckle Up, that the healing survivor only gets Endurance if they are injured. Something like: "Upon healing a Survivor from the dying state, both you and the healed Survivor gains the Endurance status effect for 6/8/10 seconds. If you are injured when completing the heal, you also gain the Endurance status effect."

Isn't that implied? I don't think you can get endurance if you aren't injured

You can have Endurance while healthy. But it will not prevent you from becoming injured, it only prevents you from being downed. But that can still be used to counter Exposed/other instadowns, you just go straight from healthy to deep wound instead of being downed.

Ooh yeah I completely forgot about that. I figured because you get injured anyway it was basically inexistant/useless, legitimately forgot it countered insta downs

yep. with buckle up, killer lose ability to pressure survivors with slugs because they cannot tactically camp slugs safely to keep people on floor so slugging is even less rewarding then before on most killers. that perk is almost as strong as unbreakable to deter slugging. its like old borrow time that used to work on hooks for slugging. So if slugging ever get buffed to rewarding bleeding out survivors aka rewarding for killer to slug then this perk will be a big issue. killer will not complain about this perk but later down line, this perk could be meta. twins and sadako will dislike going against this perk.

That's why they're changing it, so maybe it becomes something more than a troll pick.
