Are people are burned out by the event?
I've been rinsing dbd these last couple of weeks for the masquerade, it's pushed me a considerable way through my prestige 100 jeff grind, it's a good event.
But I've noticed these last couple of days people are getting mad triggered. Had more toxic messages in one 3 hour game session tonight than I usually get in a month. I think I'll need a break from dbd after this 🙃

Yes, i hate how it made killer gameplay even easier.
Auto pallet breaking & exposing survivor at Bloodlust 1 are terrible ideas. And survivors powers are doing nothing and useless.

Hard agree. Survs got shafted on the invitation powers. Although the vault blocker does come in handy sometimes.

Not really. Killers are already not vaulting so much, it's hardly happen. And dream pallets are doing nothing if you don't stun killer.

Good survivors can get value from those pallets but yeah killer even powers are much better and you can use them almost infinitely.

The window block has been really good against vaulting killers like Mastermind and Legion.

Yes, really burnout, buyed a few characters that where cheaper and rise those to at least lvl 1 + all event cosmetics.
Now i want to forget this game for months TBH.

I'd say I'm far more burned out by the toolbox spam, honestly after like the first 4 days I was just done.

Wish the servers were better, tried to enjoy it the best I could but was difficult. Party pallets was pretty fun

Apparently you can break them from a distance or something. I don't use it.

I'm far from burnt out, this event has been a godsent for me.
I've gotten so many characters prestiged it's unreal, i only wish it could have lasted longer.

From a distance. It doesn't even make a sound, or if it does I can't hear it over chase music, so killers use that to their advantage too.
Eg. Played a game a couple days ago where I dropped a pallet in chase and killer didn't break it, just went around the wall. I ran around too, vaulted a window, but instead of continuing to the next tile from there I decided to stay on the same one and use my dropped pallet to keep chase going there. Went back around but there was no pallet anymore - killer had destroyed it from a distance, and I had no auditory or visual indication of it happening. Had nowhere to go on that side of the tile so just went down.
On the topic - I've definitely had enough.

This. The way they can break the palettes is not cool, one chased me the entire match trying to pull that, the exposed thing too and couldn't catch me. Felt good.
But yeah I love the extra BP but the stuff the killer gets is too OP.

Idk about burnt out but their have been tons of sweaty SWF and killer influx as of recent, probably because the event is ending and people won't be burning the terrormisu's as often or they want to stockpile them.

Could you explain it? Killers rarely vault so blocking a window hasn't been too handy, the easier option the vast majority of the time is to just walk around the wall or obstacle. And if you don't get the stun with the pallet - which is easy for killer to step back and avoid - then it's a guaranteed hit because the drop animation you're locked into lasts longer than it takes for the pallet to dissolve and the killer to move through. I'd genuinely like to know what I'm doing wrong.

You should watch videos on youtube where survivors just keep replenishing pallets over and over and make chases last longer thanks to window blocking.

No worries, I'll have a browse. Those 3 are way above my skill level and do well in chase with or without help anyway, so I'd probably benefit from finding a more average survivor to watch.

The main idea here is to find a good loop and rotate around, replacing destroyed pallets since the invitation does recharge while mid chase. It's much easier when there's a team mate nearby who does help with pallet replacement either by running close enough or collecting invitation charges and then coming back and initiating ''false chases'' which would allow the placement of magical pallets.

I mean they're kind of handy on some of those awkward vaults that force a killer to break a door to keep up like on campbells or ormond. Just not much.
And yh the pallets are worse than useless. They should persist for a second or 2 after dropping then auto break

I played nearly 120 hours of DBD in the last two weeks lol... I had all but stopped playing it prior to the event but the BP bonus drew me in and I got addicted again.
Gonna miss the BP but not all the pallet stuff

After 7 years we actually got the first killer sided event and survs are "burned out" aka don't like it.
Enjoy it as it lasts killer mains, more surv handholding is coming. SOON.

Got new killer to prestige 3 and Gabriel Soma to..prestige 42. And 1200+ cakes so far it's all good but I will take one day rest from DBD after event a bit tired of the game now.

The killer advantages are absurd. The game was already hell for solo players. I won't miss them when they're gone. Thankfully this event at least exposed how ridiculous these two concepts are. I take comfort in knowing they'll never make it into the game as basekit additions.
