Or when they run behind the killer as they're carrying you to the hook, thinking the killer won't hear them.
Might work on console but sure as hell doesn't on PC when everyone is using headphones.

I’m on console and it doesn’t work on it either. They see and hear them. Idk why they run all the way to the hook instead of hiding, knowing they won’t make it in time to body block.

Because they want the unhook. So they run behind then crouch behind the killer or in nearby grass.
Speaking of which that might be a decent idea for a new perk. Like this one that makes survivors scream while in terror radius when one goes down, they could have one that makes survivors in terror radius scream when one is put onto a hook.

The smart ones hide, it’s the under par ones that run behind, are seen them keep running. Then the killer stays by the hook thinking someone is coming to get you. It really goes either way. Depends on the killer.
Yeah that hat does sound like a good perk rip new survivors though.
