Thanks for horrible event experience, devs.

Since the anniversary update got released, I started to have a huge lag spikes for no reason in my 95% of the games. It's really unplayable to get down from miles and some seconds ago be in a different place you could be. It's a disaster for me and it's my the worst experience of playing dbd since release date.

The sad thing is that not many people have this issue if we take all players around the world but still it's pretty big numbers of players that have this problem and it denies to get fun and have a good feeling to play dbd during anniversary. It reminds me about NAT problem that was a huge thing some years ago. It prevented to get any progress from games cause it dced you when the match ends (no matter if you escape, got sacrificed or played as the killer). Some people dealt with it around a half of a year! And now the folks that suffering with server problems (including me) can do nothing again!

The devs said that the problem is not on servers side. But a lot of people even on this forum says that is not true.

Not any solution or even something to say "sorry" at least to people that have troubles with server problems. Only we can do is watching that some people are lucky and have no problems and they enjoying the event.

It is my time to say goodbye to DbD to me.

Yet I still have a good memories that I spent with a smile during my 5100 hours of playing this game but this was the final nail in the coffin. I love the game but the last month that it gave me was such a horrible experience that I finally can say "I'm done".

I'm sorry if someone find this post a little bit pessimistic but I wanted to say about it and think that it's a right thing especially being a little piece of this community since the beginning.

Be happy everyone and take yourself!

I just had a Bubba get a saw hit on me after I vaulted a window and walked straight for a full second... Jesus. He probably isn't quite in NA like me and has to deal with not having a dedicated server.

I get the frustration, and even if you play killer to not have to deal with the insufferable survivor lag, the survivors you face have to experience and endure countless fake hits that frustrate them to the point they constantly call you a VPNer, give you suggestions to move country or stop playing entirely; very discouraging because the only solution is to always skip the endgame chat and that's kinda lame. The issue was there before the event but it wasn't unplayable by any means or too disgusting from a survivor's POV, but yeah, this anniversary has completely destroyed the thin barrier that was keeping connection differences under control. For me it has been at least a +30 ping increase 60% of games, +50 - +70 ping increase 30% of games, and if I get lucky, I get to play with my old bad ping that is now a blessing in comparison 10% of games.

It just feels so bad to play.
