Don't like playing against wesker?
Too bad. Tell behavior to make more fun simple killers then. Not all of us want to spend hundred of hours learning a killer just to be able to play them effectively.

Solid argument.
Although I wouldn't say Wesker is simple. There is a lot more to him than just rush in a direction and hit the survivor.

While I do want more killers like Wesker (low skill floor, high skill ceiling, fun and strong), I do feel Wesker needs some tweaks here and there to make him more fun, so both buffs and nerfs.

I mean 2 out of the last 3 killers were "simple" to play and yet the survivor side dislikes going against them.. and the newest one is just bad in general. Too high risk for very low or mediocre reward.

I don't mind playin against em. I like it. However, when I play from 8pm to 4pm and every single match is against this dude, sorry not sorry it gets OLD.
It's ridiculous. My partner was like why do you keep fighting against that guy over and over, don't you get sick of it? Yes, yes I do, so I turn off Dead by Wesker lol.
...actually l usually escape against em so Live by Wesker tbh.

He is simple tho. He is not new player friendly maybe but it's easy to learn and adapt for veteran players.

If Wraith was realised today he would probably be super popular also. I do think this will die out a bit after a while but it's also up to BHVR to design more killers like this balanced and pretty strong while being quite easy to play. Sure Skullie is easy but very long games not even killers wants that or like protecting gens.
I don't have a problem going against Wesker I'm just happy it's not a Legion lol.

M1 killers are inherently boring. I also find them boring in chase as well most of the time.

Wesker is a fun killer to face. My guess is it's not the design but the frequency he appears. It's like the Entity asked the killers who wanted to do extra hours and Wesker was always that guy who waved his hand excitedly in the air, shouting: "ME! ME! ME!", and when asked how many he'd like, he replied "Yes".

Except Wesker has a lot of hidden complexity. People are discovering new and more crazy stuff you can do with him all the time. He is simple enough on the surface that you can just pick him up, play and have a fun time, unlike nurse and blight for example. The skill cap on him is deceptively high though so if you really like playing him he has lots of growth potential as far as power level is concerned.

He is just broken it's a Nurse without skill.
But don't worry OP he will be nerfed ... it's the same loop everytime:
Broken -> everyone buy the DLC -> Nerf into the ground -> GG

We'd might agree but even the people playing Wesker don't want to spend hrs learning to be effective. Last 5/6 went the tunnel and camp strategy straight out the start.
Rant aside, there are killers that also fit the bill of simple and fun (by our standards anyway)

Except Nurse goes through objects, hits you literally everywhere, pallets and windows don't mean anything against her, her cooldowns are lower than Wesker's, she doesn't care about elevation and will always catch up by taking the shortest route. Wesker is nowhere near Nurse's power level. Not by a long shot.
I'd also argue that Wesker's skill ceiling is higher than Nurse's. Once you get the muscle memory down and manage to flick correctly there really isn't much to learn with her anymore. Wesker on the other hand is more complex. There are things like Hug Tech, Urobend and the Rebound Tech as well as M1 killer mindgames, triangle dashes and learning how to play around different structures.

I think its more... you spend all this time learning a killer to end up only playing a slightly better version of an already weak killer.

Except the complaint against Wesker is that he's too popular, not that he's OP. Things shouldn't be buffed/nerfed due to things like popularity or DCes, but rather how well they perform.

I don’t get how people can’t see this coming. Who in their right mind would invest time and effort into a killer that isn’t effective? The only way around this is to make stronger killers that are worth the time.

Or better yet, just play Killer.
If something in DBD is bothering you, just take a break from what you are doing, grab some food, go for a walk, maybe even try out the other role you arent playing. Nobody, but themselves, are forcing them to play a role they find frustrating or annoying.

In fairness, you always have afew nuts. I mained Freddy before his rework. There's also ppl who main all the low tier killers. That's still gonna be a unicorn though.

Yea there are always some. My point is that people scream their heads off to get killers nerfed, yet they wonder why they only see a few killers in pubs. You reap what you sow.

Except Wesker is performing well too.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but he meets all the criteria to get nerfed, any argument against him getting nerfed could be applied to the current complained about perks as well.
Will he get nerfed? I doubt it but he is definitely in that territory and I personally would not mind him getting knocked down and played less.

Performing well is where killers SHOULD be. Performing well =/= OP. If that was ppl's problem, the thread would be titled "Wesker is OP, it's just not possible to win against this guy". There IS counterplay though and the complaints are about his popularity. Popularity is not something to base what gets nerfed, otherwise things like Windows of Opertunity would get hit, which is dumb.

do people think bhvr hate money and they actively trying to design boring killers or smth?
there are many fun killers in the game and i didn't hear complaints about"boring cast" or "lack of fun killers" to play before stupid wesker was released but now people defend spamming him because "thErE R nO fUn KillErS" no it's because he's easy and because he is press m2 to zoom and that's what it takes to click with people's brains but bhvr releases a fun and strong killer like singularity that if played well can be pretty oppressive and people don't give him a chance cuz he takes a but more effort than just pressing a button to zoom around everything.

From what I've heard about ppl who have him, Singularity is pretty rough playing as on Console due to not being able to move the cursor fast enough with cameras to tag someone before they get out of LoS. It could simply be QoL reasons like that Singularity isn't more popular.

I'm not, but I'm trying to explain to you something being well-liked and popular doesn't mean its excluded from nerfs.
If people are going to say that Wesker shouldn't get nerfed because he's popular and fun then the same can be applied to meta perks that are complained about.

I at no time said meta perks SHOULD be excluded. I said something being well liked does not mean it should be nerfed. Nerf things that are OP, not things that are popular. There's people here asking for nerfs for Wesker, not because he's OP, but because they hope that will get ppl to stop playing him. If Wesker was nerfed to the ground, but still equally popular, the people complaining would not be satisfied.

I personally don't like windows (mostly because you can see pallets in night fall) but I'm not asking for a nerf
