The Console Update

if MS passed it SONY should be right behind, at least i would think

I hope so too, not trying to be impatient but I been looking forward to this since they showed the card with just the clowns hand.

I know patience. I am fine being patient. I have been patient. That does not mean I cannot express frustration with the lack of communication that BVHR has shown the console community. We are allowed to vent.

As for your last comment. I completely agree. So next patch, all platforms should wait for it to be ready for everyone. You know, patience and good things come to those who wait and all that.

@Skrzydlata I feel you, man. I'm annoyed too. I just hope it will come out this week. Especially I have 1k shards and 1 mio BP, don't even have Motivation to play because I can't farm anything.

@Skrzydlata I think it's understanding when ps4 players aren't patient anymore. I'm not and i think its understandable.

Nope, no reason to unlock killer anything if you dont use it or just want it.

And as for prestige, it's a personal choice but make sure you have all the teachables unlocked that you want to use, if they not going to use Katys new stuff and you have all the teachables you want that character to use then you can go for it, but honestly I see little value in it seeing how with the new store who cares about bloody clothes anymore and yeah the web resizes but its always back up to 40+ or all the way to 50 before I get all the perks I want to run back to level 3's anyway. So... your call

I can't see that much use in the shrine now, I personally would rather get new cosmetics than the Bloodpoints for my shards (have all the Teachables unlocked already).

As far as prestiging goes: I personally always prestige my characters. It just feels like a waste to me to level over 50 on a non prestiged character. What if I want to prestige the character in the future? Then I'd have wasted bloodpoints (yeah, yeah, more items, addons, etc. but it still feels wasted to me). But that comes down to personal preference, especially now that you can get cosmetics in the store and the prestige outfits aren't the only outfits you can have (mostly concerning killers, survivors had quite a few things to choose from before the update, at least on pc)

You were the one who said good things come to those who wait and we should learn patience. Then lets have all platforms have patience for a release so we can all have those good things we waited for together at the same time.

PC Players will get the PTB. They'd have been the ones to test the update for the Console players. And why hold the PC Players up due to the fact we don't play on the same console?

If you feel PC shouldn't be held up by console...then don't have a problem with console players having issues that we get a back seat to the PC players then. You got the update before us and console people were mad, so don't say "we should learn patience" when PC is the devs first child who they care about more.

Testing new content must be soooooo hard for them. It must be hard to enjoy that new fresh content am I right? Lol

Happens frequently with any game that is ported onto different platforms. Hell it used to be that one platform got a game and the other 2 had to wait a month or more for the port. It doesn't happen as much anymore, but it still does happen.

For some reason people think that their wants should be fulfilled instantly. It's ridiculous. The certification process isn't just a quick checkmark in a box and go ahead. Would you enjoy having a bug filled game that is unplayable? There'd be even more crying going on if that were the case. Ultimately Sony and M$ have the last say on when this update is going to be released on their respective products. You should be voicing your complaints on their forums instead of here.

See but we don’t know what happened during the process so we don’t know who actually caused what. I highly doubt it was smooth sailing on bhvr’s end. So you gotta blame all parties or no parties 

Understandable, but really your complaints here do nothing. BHVR knows everyone is impatient, they probably have some random in jokes about it at the company, but voicing those complaints doesn't do anything to speed up the process. To be quite honest, it might even slow it down if someone is feeling the pressure and screws up something because of it.

Need to reign in the frustration and find something else to do while the process plays out. Getting upset and angry over something you flat out cannot control is not good. When the update comes out, then it's time to get upset if it's buggy or unplayable. Pre-release you really can't do anything but causes yourself to have issues.

I do have to ask, did they ever actually reveal a release date prior? Or was it just one of those "Soon after the PC release is out" type of things?

I’m not the one complaining it’s just a lot of people are saying to point the finger at ms/sony when it came to the wait when their just 1/2 of the team. I personally don’t care enough about this game to give it that much weight. Also tbh the chances of someone messing something up because they feel the pressure is very low, you come into to this industry knowing they’ll be pressure.

 From what I’ve gathered many people aren’t upset at just the wait it’s more of an accumulation of things with bhvr. As far as the release date goes I remember them saying June and then it was June 12th. It wasn’t until like it was getting close to release it became June 12th for pc. So if I remember correctly it gave the impression that it was june 12th for everyone until it wasn’t lol
