This is the last License I've wanted - so I'm SO HAPPY we're getting this. I hope they got Sigourney Weaver's likeness too and voice would be icing on the cake, but I'm elated regardless.

I'm so happy it's Alien !! Kinda terrified because I despise stealth killers but super excited nonetheless !! If I'm gonna suffer against stealth killers it might as well be a really cool iconic one
Edit: Also, assuming the new map is a new map and not just trailer material it looks really cool and reminds me of Hawkins map which I loved and miss deeply, so I'm super excited about that as well

Hopefully it will be fun DLC but i just find it weird that we are getting two full sci-fi chapters in a row. First BHVR's original Sci-Fi and then the sci-fi license. Just seems weird to me.
As long as the killer is fun to play though i will like it. I really don't enjoy the last 3.

Funny, I thought it would not be Alien. Mainly because BHVRs own Chapter was Space-themed, so I thought that it will not be Alien, because now it really overshadows the Anniversary Chapter since Alien is way above an original Space-Chapter.
So I really thought that they would have picked something different as Anniversary Chapter if Alien is the licensed Chapter.
But well, lets see how it plays out. As long as the Killer is fun and the Perks on either side are not shockingly bad, I dont care about the rest.

It probably won't be this but I can't get out of my mind that you start off as a little facehugger and then pounce around shrieking like Victor before you "unlock" being a Xenomorph

No it is a full chapter with a map too by the looks of it. I'm so excited I really hope they don't mess it up.

Mainly because he is too difficult for the average Killer-player.
But I just think it is a weird decision to make a Space-Themed Chapter just to release Alien afterwards which will just make the Anniversary Chapter feel even less special.

There is a killer only chapter but that is in november. The chapter for august includes a new survivor and map.

I suppose an outside chance of it being Corporal Hicks but besides Newt, I can't imagine there's any character in any of the Alien movies anyone would know by name (and presumably BHVR is not going to add a literal child to the game 😅).

BHVR 1-Upping Singularity isn’t something I expected. Honestly, kinda like they expected Larry to not be a hit. Maybe they took notes from Dredge or something, but this feels too convenient.
This actually disappoints me since I like Larry and no one plays him. I like Alien, but I’m not sure I’m a fan of this coming so early right after End Transmission.

Actually that kinda fits, the ship was breaking al the time anyways, and the company was REAL CHEAP with their cost cutting. Military Grade Advanced AI Mainframe but 80's style computer interfaces.
So yeah, Really old Gens for once makes sense! At least more sense when compared to Soma's team and tech anyway.
Regardless, Here's hoping the new, and obviously indoor map, won't be as torturous as the Hawkins Lab was!

i know but they said it's two licenses with big L we will get, obviously there's probably no horror franchise bigger then Alien. But FNAF is still big L, every person knows it.

I know two big licenses were teased at but admittedly if we're thinking massive big licenses I can only thing of either Jason from Friday The 13th or Pennywise from IT. In regards to Slashers the most iconic is Jason and I doubt BHVR can get anything going with Stephen King.
If someone wants to put their guess on the next one if we're thinking the same level as Alien I'd genuinely guess Jason from F13th now that the bar has been set to Alien.

I'm putting my money on Predator. This shows us that killers can come out very close to killers inspired by them. That, and Alien and Predator coming out in sequence would just feel right.
