New killer-type trend

For those of you that've been here for a while and know me, I play the game, take month-breaks, come back... etc.

So I've decided to return after D4 kind of disappointed me and I'm waiting for BG3 to release.

I met a couple of new killers which I find to be the same in terms of gameplay.

Lady Wolverine does nothing but camp gens with her drones, making it extremely boring and forcing people to DC because there is no game progression after a while.

Robocop installs cameras everywhere, mostly camping gens, and shoots robocop portals at your back. Ending up in the same boring scenario as you do for Lady Wolverine.

Will Alien also lay eggs next to gens and shoot little aliens at you to prevent you from repairing as well?

Is this BHVR's new way to playstyle? It's boring, let me tell you. It induces no fear, it just feels like a chore. Having to run back and forth to print those EMP weapons is A-NNOYING as it is having to run to a drone to do a Mortal Kombat combo on them to deactivate them. And all of this is temporary. You need to go about it a hundred times, while avoiding the killer.

Please, do not make this the new play style for the game. You're not only forcing hook camping but also gen camping.

Singularity is actually pretty underwhelming mostly. Try to predrop if you don't have emp's. I feel whenever I go down fast it is my own fault unless outpositioned.

Sm yeah, she is terrible for dbd but you can just move next until they do something.

As someone like you who take breaks often throughout the years and play other games, I feel you. Also about d4 I was looking forward to that game for years and I am also very dissapointed, mostly because of the bad servers and lag then everything else.

I mean, I just got back like 2 days ago and I don't know how to play against them yet but I've noticed this tren. Camp gens with drones or blob-curity cams and move from gen to gen even if it means not chasing anyone around.

D4 has been such a huge disappointment... and season 1... what can I say

Trying to break experienced sm's 3gen, it really doesn't matter what you do in solo q imo. And if it is midwich, then good luck with that.

It is not about you dw. But singularity it is on us when we don't do well in most cases.

EMPs print automatically. You don’t need to do it yourself unless you want to speed it up, but you usually don’t need to and can just grab one when needed. Gen camping with Singularity is probably his weakest play style as a single EMP at a gen just wastes too much time for him

He also needs most of your body visible to tag you, so you can usually position yourself so that something is obscuring you so he can’t shoot you. A twig is enough cover sometimes. Or even just sitting on the opposite side of the gen away from his pod.

I’ve noticed a trend where survivors are excessively pre leaving generators, which is super easy because of the visual terror radius. So I’ll be stuck just patrolling generators over and over, because I won’t ever see anyone, and there’s so much clutter on the map that it’s pointless to search every object for the hiding survivors.

    Yeah, I know about that.

Some locations are very pro-blobcurity cams though. Wall facing a gen, bam, blocurity cam there. No way to hide from it. I know I'll find the way though but that's not really the question. It's that it looks like the last 2 killers were designed to be able to do similar stuff.

Given generators stared consistently spawning with 2/3 within sight of each other on near enough every map variation earlier this year and the type of killers they've launched I'll never not be convinced that they intended for this boring 3 gen play style as a choice. I'm glad it's getting so much backlash because it's an absolutely abysmal choice..
