What killers do you all main?
Just curious cause I'm trying to get more into getting better with killers, and want to see which killers everyone mainly plays. At the moment I wouldn't say I'm very good with any killer,but I find huntress to be the funnest killer for me. I'm trying to find a second killer to bounce between.

I started with Doctor, then Billy and now I added Bubba to the list.

Also started as a Doctor main, moved on to Wraith and Spirit, but dropped those two in favour of Ghostface and Pig.

Started with Spirit. Still play her to this day. Artist has been in that mix ever since she came out. Artist has been my most played as of recent.

This kinds of posts are always fun when the people commenting have killer PFPs, cause basically just looking at their PFP tells you what their main is. Yes the same is true for me.

Knight is my primary main, followed by Legion and Trickster.
I started playing Spirit lately as well.

PH, Spirit, Pinhead, Oni, Wesker, Artist, Ghostface, Knight. In no particular order, I just mostly play with these and like them the most

Ghost face is amazing in indoor maps and can be pretty decent in other maps.
He's my main along with huntress.
But if you're looking for fun and not too bothered about wins then Trickster and Clown are great fun for variety.
Both are very good with a killer main on them so there is potential.
I'm playing Clown a lot recently and having a blast. 1k or 4k or even zero doesn't matter fun is important in a video game not getting stressed. There's enough of that in everyday life.
Also, Knight is good fun too and can also be powerful.
Find a killer you like put in the time to learn and off you go.

I've had a lot of mains I think it's gone something like Clown - Slinger - Plague - Nemesis - Twins - Knight - Skull Merchant
That being said I plan on being a permanent Xeno main once the chapter releases.

first I do whatever dailies I have.
then I go by mood. or I pick whoever is in the archives for the character specific challenges.
wouldn't really say I have a main... if any it would be trapper.
my favorites are trapper, ghostface, hag, pig, legion, pinhead and slinger.

Pyramid Head, Nemesis and Slinger are my favourites.
Myers, Spirit, Huntress, Wesker, Pinhead and Knight I’m happy to play.
For me I reached a point where I couldn’t regularly play any killer who didn’t have anti loop. Myers is an exception because he’s cool to me.

Sometimes have phases where I like Huntress, Trickster and Doctor - but few and far between.

Trapper - Just because there is nothing more satisfying than someone stepping on a trap.
Clown - But I only use the yellow bottles, and speed perks, then make racecar noises when I am chasing people...

Started out as Wraith, Ghostface, and Myers.
Now i exclusively play Knight and Oni.

Working my way through the roster still, but the ones I've always have fun playing win or lose are:
- Pig
- Trapper
- Spirit
One's I'd occasionally pick up when I'm in the mood:
- Dredge
- Huntress
- Legion
- Wraith
- Nemesis
- Hillbilly
- Nurse (specifically Spasmodic Breath add-on).
- Plague
Ones I enjoyed but probably won't play often:
- Bubba
- Doctor
- Shape
- Hag
- Knight
Not had a Killer yet I actually despised playing.

We play everyone sans nurse, though our top picks are Artist, Pyramidhead, and Ghost face.

Yeah, it is a good indicator, isn't it? X3 Though in some people's cases, they might be choosing a killer based on how much they like their lore. If I had to pick a profile picture based on who I played the most, it probably wouldn't be the Wraith, but Philip's story is just so compelling to me. Also, he's one of the most morally aligned of the killers in Dead by Daylight, I feel like. I do love me some villains with tragic backstories. X3
To answer the topic's question, though, I don't really have a main. I have favorites, of course, but who I feel like playing shifts depending on my mood and what kind of playstyle I want to go for. I love playing as the Twins, for example, but there are some times when the thought of playing as them is not at all appealing.
Really, the only killer I consistently don't play as is the Nurse, but that's nothing against her. I'll probably pick her up eventually. And there are other killers I only play as once in a blue moon, but most killers are in the rotation somewhere.
Lately I've been enjoying trying to make Freddy work and experimenting with the Singularity.

It would be actually a good QOL if we could see statistics of every Killer/Survivor. Playrate and killrate at least. Most of the games have it already.
Anyways, I switch between Killers pretty often but it is always fun to come back to Nurse for a game or two.
Other fun Killers are Nemesis, Dredge and recently Bubba (with Light Chassis add-on and Infectious Fright perk)

Next by hours is most likely Myers and then my failed attempt to learn Console Nurse long ago. After that maybe Bubba.

The older versions of Freddy had so many dedicated players. Nowadays he is almost a myth, kinda like Twins.

My main is Artist. I also play a lot of Knight, Clown, and Doctor.

I don't really main any killer but I mostly play Artist, Pyramid Head or Myers these days.
Used to main Nurse and have hundreds of hours on her but it gets to the point where you realise she is kinda broken and it isn't really fun having easy wins pretty much every match.

Agreed. I'd be very interested in a breakdown by platform too, see the kills & pick rates for the killers that way.

Was a Wraith main in the very early days of DbD. Then I switched to Nurse a few months after she released, and mained her until 2022 when Onryō released.
Since then, I’ve mained Onryō but I play a lot of Nemesis, Pig, Plague, and Mastermind too.

I claim to be a "Nurse main" but don't play her that often unless i want to win. But she's definitely my best.
In general i swap around periodically and play at least a game or 2 a day in no particular order with:
- Pinhead
- Sadako
- Skull Merchant
- Pig
- Legion
- Nurse
My most fun to play being the new sadako and skull merchant, focusing on a chasing style. Although skull merchant its hard to get games because people usually immediately DC, but when they quickly realize i'm not 3-genning the game goes much more smoothly.
