Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Some knight builds?

I really actually like his design (not for 3 genning though i just like the guards can distract while im chasing someone else) just the fact the guards glitch out and mess up a good bit of time kinda ruins it for me. Also seems like call to arms and map of the realm is basekit for me at this point. But id like to see some other builds and maybe get some advice on what you think is effective? And maybe any tips?

I wouldn't bother with any addons outside of Map of the Realm, Horsemeat and Call to Arms unless it's a gimmick build.

I run Surge, PR, PGTW and Corrupt.

I've also run PR, Floods, Lethal and Corrupt.

Yeah its sad half of the times i get my guard on them as a distraction they can just hold forward until they get the flag (Sometimes getting it instantly and sometimes them just holding forward the guards chase time runs out even on the carnifex) and other times they throw a pallet or vault a window and the guard just contemplates existance lol. Its frustrating. Ill stick with the addons but ill try those perks.

As stated: Map of the Realm, Horse Meat, and Call to Arms are solid. Use map of the realm in your builds at first since it REALLY helps the guards to proc on survivors. The only other addon I recommend that has nothing to do with Gen defense is the Battle Axe Head to get Carnifex to destroy pallets more often.

    as for builds:

    • PR: Helps in any build tbf
    • Discordance: Good for pestering survivors on gens
    • BBQ/Nurses: Homing in on survivors with aura readings tends to get the ball rolling, especially when you get good at guard positioning with Call to Arms
    • Surge/Deadlock/DMS: Guards 90% of the time aren’t gonna down anyone so Surge tends to pull it’s worth. Good alternatives, especially if you plan on relying on Assassin with the Treated Blade, are Deadlock/DMS, since you can use them to pester survivors off Gens

My go to is Map and Call to Arms for add-ons and for perks I use Discordance/Jolt/Pain Res/Sloppy. Discordance for knowing where to snipe with your guards then two gen regression and then sloppy for longer heals and the ideal scenario is to split pressure as much as possible and you're shooting for the following...

1 survivor being chased by you.

1 survivor being chased by a guard.

    2 survivors healing.

The more you can make this happen the more likely you are to win.
