"Why do killer players only play strong killers nowadays?"
Probably has something to do with this. This is what 3/5 of my games look like. Also for the record, the James teabagged hardcore at hatch after running across the entire map with MFT+Hope.
This is why you only see Blights/Nurses/Weskers/Spirits.

this is my dbd experience since they added MFT. it's absolutely miserable.
26 -
You got a 3k with a hatch escape and got 37k score. What’s the problem?
37 -
"You got sent to one of the worst maps in the game for your killer, by a 4 man with extremely strong items, with nearly nothing but S-tier perks, and had to sweat your balls off to snag a 3k with all gens complete, and only got this result because they were trash at the game. Why won't you keep playing weak killers?"
57 -
You still win againts 2 brand new part as trapper and still criying, what do you killers want omg @_@
21 -
What are you trying to prove? That killer isn't as unplayable as some people say? You 3k'd with trapper with a sizeable amount of bloodpoints.
13 -
Probably that they had to sweat like their life depended on it to not go out of the match with nothing. I mean, look at the points. That basically tells you how the game went.
No offense op but I take it you tunneled or camped Meg (or maybe she killed herself on hook)?
10 -
someone is actually running iron will? weird...
1 -
In the future it'll be worse. On average you'll do all of that work, but only get 2k so be ready for that. 2k 2 escapes seems to be what they are shooting for on an overall balance level regardless of how hard you try as Killer. Almost kind of seems like they want to force Killer mentalities to expect less of themselves and just try to enjoy the game, because if you only enjoy it as Killer when you get 3- 4 kills then maybe you're not really enjoying the game.
2 -
Holy hell this team had to be awfull at the game, how did they let you do that lmao, like actually man they had to be trolling no wway someone can throw that bad.
7 -
Yeah Meg got hard tunneled. Had some interesting pathing too, basically gave me the first down for free. P100 pathing be like
Map offerings+broken items+perks will only take you so far if you're bad at the game, but I would have 4k3'd this team on any other map. My point is that gens never should have been done and they would have gotten demolished if I was playing any decent killer.
7 -
You prolly camped basement and got 3k it's really not that impressive, we already know camping is overpowered especially basement is free win
6 -
How is this a problem? You had to sweat to win against players who were sweating. That's an indicator of balance, if anything. The game would suck if killers could run whatever they wanted, sleepwalk through games, and win even when opponents were sweating. That wouldn't be balanced at all
21 -
You played Trapper, who is by and large the WORST Killer into a worst-case scenario without regression perks or busted add-ons against people who were trying to win AND YOU STILL WON.
Why should you expect to win?
26 -
If you want to claim that Survivors are too strong, showing a game where you play one of the weakest Killer against 2 BNPs and get a 3K is not really helping your point.
25 -
I knew someone would tell you that you won and so that there is no problem.
Ppl here refuse to aknowledge the problems in this game.
10 -
Looks like to played to win and so were they?
Yes I know you used Trapper but at the same time your build tells me you really wanted to win (like theirs).
Idk maybe show a different screenshot for whatever point you are trying to make.
8 -
I dont understand. You posted a picture of you winning a game with one of the weakest killers in the game against a strong team of survivors with good perks and addons.
The pic is proving the complete opposite of what you are stating, that you CAN actually win without using the strongest killers.
19 -
We're confused as to the point being made....
14 -
There was two P100:s so you did face one of the stronger survivor teams more like and won with weak killer even they sweated... Your proving completely opposite here that you can win good teams even with weak killer if you put the effort. So players should play more of them.
7 -
I main Knight and should probably go back to Oni. His guards can't catch MFT users lol.
1 -
I love how many weaker m1 killers can barely win at the end-game against decent teams due to the already wasted resources during the match but ; MFT just coming in clutch (not taking hope or DH in mind) to still make connected tiles even more strong.
but thats balanced for the Devs i guess , a perk that just punishes low tier killers is just totally intended because rewarding you by getting hit its soo earned for some people.
also here you go more depressing facts about MFT:
-When going from healthy to injured the 3% actives as soon as you get hit - meaning you cover more distance with that speed boost , thats right people , it gives you like a mini-overcome for free. Negating almost the nerf they did to the speed boost for survivors
-If you decide to use a styptic addon , it literally also gives you more distance after being hit when injured as well due to the 3% haste effect ; why? I know DH deactives this perk when use but why just an addon can make your chase even longer just that casually.
-After being unhooked you get for free 10% of haste , which becomes 10% + hope 7% + 3% mft when combined "20%" of haste at the end of the game , basically if someone runs "MFT - HOPE" and it gets unhooked they can pretty much cover the entire map from side to side without the killer even caching up. (even worst if that survivor gets unhooked with someone using Borrowed time to extend the haste
to the argument of saying just ignore that person . bro is they bodyblock me on some place what i suposse to do , i hit them they cover cross map ,If i dont they force me to hit them by fast vaulting something or to follow them and losing distance anyway because 20% extra speed is more faster than the killer 4.6 movement speed.

Not getting a 4k at 5gens, Unfair game /s
11 -
Had basement in main, AKA very hard to camp. I got an early hook in basement but it was away from all objectives. Hardly anyone got camped this game, but it would have been a different story with basement in shack.
1 -
They were sweating but they were atrocious at the game is my point. Now imagine if any of them was halfway decent. Why would anyone play a low-tier killer when their odds of running into a sweat squad like this are higher than not?
3 -
Prestige =/= Skill. I have a clip of Meg taking the absolute worst pathing I've ever seen anyone take and feeding me the first down 30s into the match. I'd post it but I don't know how to censor names in a video.
The point is evidently to demonstrate what most killers mains have to go up against, and the reasons why you run into so many strong killers (that people are always whining about). If survivors don't want to play against a strong killer every game, they need to stop bringing stuff like this to every match. The only reason I won that game is because I'm a 6k hour killer and they were all trash at the game, hoping to get carried by the map and their items.

This isnt what a bad killer match looks like, it looks like a 3v1 because James did nothing to help and went for hatch. A bad killer match would be 4man SWF with Power-Struggle/Plot Twist abuse.
0 -
Our matches are similar, yet we play everyone from hag to wraith and do just as well as your posted picture. People playing the listed killers doesn't really have to do with the items brought (atleast in our opinion).
Side note, for that point, you probably could a used a pick of 4 green boxes with add ons instead of a 50/50 split.
1 -
Can we stop with this?
4 -
them swifters always up to something! little rascals
0 -
I'm so sorry about your 3K win. Hopefully next match the 4 Survivors will just run up to you and give you the kill.
16 -
Or better yet, hopefully the survivors won't bring map offerings with broken items+S-tier perks and maybe I'll consider playing a killer below A-tier.
1 -
Or....maybe they weren't bad.
Maybe they were average.
They brought busted stuff and the trapper still won.
12 -
You pipped, so you had fine, right ;)

The bigger issue is there is no incentive to run weaker things. And there is a big difference for both killers and survivors for running items/ addons and not.
A very simple fix, cap the mas blood points a person can earn based off what addons/ items they use. I would not have an issue of Iridescent items capped your blood points at 5k and rare capped at 10 or so forth. Running extremely strong items needs to be recognised as making the game far easier.
2 -
The point you are making is fair but the example is absolutely atrocious! The results page shows a win and we only have your words for it that they were as bad as you say.
It would have been far better to show result pages where you were stomped to illustrate the point you're making. This example is just confusing since it negates the point being made that you need a strong killer to deal with sweaty teams.
I'm not denying that stronger killers are ideal for a better chance at strong teams, but this example is poor.

There is no point being made, the OP just wanted to flex in a screenshot and needed a sensationalist title so people would actually post in the thread.
Kudos to them cause it worked. But there's nothing to be discussed, just like in the last thread of someone posting screenshots.
7 -
To all the people saying to OP “look at your build, you clearly wanted to win” please realise that this is not like picking Blignt/Nurse and using a meta-build and add ons; that is pure overkill. These perks are basically required when playing certain killers to ensure the game lasts longer than 4 minutes. And this is the problem- there is no casual mode anymore in this game. You can try and bring meme stuff but your opponents will 9 times out of 10 be bringing the meta and be playing to win. Playing an M1 killer with no slowdown is simply not feasible in the majority of matches.
0 -
The chances of you consistently running into a sweat squad like that is lower than your chances of consistently 4K’ing with trapper or pig.
5 -
So they should weaken themselves even more so you can... win harder against them next time?
2 -
Good survivors don't need half of that to win against a Trapper, but the loss will be fun. There's nothing fun about being sent to Eyrie of no Grass and playing as an M1 killer with no power against busted items and perks.
1 -
Notice how one guy with MFT escaped and others didn't.
1 -
I've never seen anybody ask this question.
2 -
Oh no, you only got a 3k because of the hatch. I hope you can recover from such a brutal defeat.
Most players are so bad that pretty much every killer can win even against "impossible" odds like this. This is what your screenshot is showing us.
If you 3k 3/5 games that should be considered normal, but I guess some people are only happy if they 4k 5/5 games against survivors running exclusively no mither and no items because they don't have to sweat for their win.
4 -
I like how people are focused on the result but refuse to consider how it felt to play the game out.
I've had 4k games that were absolutely miserable to play out because of survivors using a map offering and loaded out kits to only win because they mess up a save at the end. Doesn't really make you want to play more despite the 4k.
1 -
Sounds like efficiency-based matchmaking is working as intended. No matter if the participants reach their level of efficiency by pure skill, strong tools or nasty tactics, the trials can be exciting and two-sided.
Very good demonstration, but your post-match analysis and conclusions are somewhat questionable.
5 -
yes you are right the main survivor player is the only who always complaining about this game. They never have POV from killer side.
Seems this game only need to satisfy their ego. Killer is stressfull than survivor.
BHVR need to make a quota on each cloud id of player when they already run out their survivor gameplay quota they need to try play killer. on each day.

I have to completely agree with this. Playing both sides can be a miserable experience even if the endgame shows that you did well. I've won many games against multiple bnp's and gen running builds but didn't enjoy a lot of them. The same with escaping against someone who has been camping/tunneling another survivor all game. It doesn't feel fun in the end. I'd rather be the person being tunneled in most of these games.

The entire point of the post is that the game was 'too hard' or at least 'too survivor-sided'.
You're not wrong that we don't know how the match played out, we were given limited evidence. The only information we get is the end screen and a pile of complaining. It's equally possible that the survivor who escaped hid all match and the killer won this game easily as a 3v1 from the start. But we don't have the video to say specifically.
It feels extra entitled because of the result, that the killer was somehow forced to put in effort to secure a win, when at minimum the choice of possibly the weakest killer in the game is completely in their control.
This feels like yet another post bitching that the devs need to make the game easier because the killer was forced to play with their monitor turned on to play the game. The horror.
11 -
You're literally arguing against the ghosts of Christmas past. At no point did I infer that the devs needed to take action, nor is the thread even directed at them. I already stated this was a SWF, and evidently, the James was coordinating with the rest of them until endgame. This was by no means a 3v1. The message of the thread should be quite obvious to anyone not attacking a strawman; I am directing this to survivor mains who are constantly complaining that they only face strong killers, and giving photo evidence as to why someone like me; a killer main; would only play strong killers.
The thing is, and I've already stated this many times in this thread if you'd bothered to read it, the only reason I got the result I did is because these survivors were atrocious at the game (not just average, straight up atrocious). I would have stood absolutely no chance against halfway decent survivors on the same map if they were completely perkless and itemless. The point is specifically that survivors will often go out of their way to put all the chips on their side (map offering, broken items, S-tier perks, 4-man SWFing) and will still complain if they play against a killer that's above B-tier. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.
1 -
Imagine complaining because you won. Man Killer mains are something else.
