If the chain hunt begins it seems like you really cant do the box. The chains continue to harass you, and you cant solve the box.

If this is a feature and not a bug, is there a strategy to actually do the box in a reasonable amount of time if the chain hunt begins?

    It's always been like this and one reason I feel he is way too oppressive overall. People say if you wait to be grabbed by three chains then do the box straight after it's fine but really it's the luck of the draw with it.

    Dodge three chains and then solve the box

    I know this is a highly complex thing to do but there is actually a way to counter this. It's called: "Doing the box before the Chain Hunt starts."

    Or you just find a corner with enough clutter around you that the chains can't hit you. I've never had any issues with that.

    Or you have your teammates stick close to you to block the chains and do it.

    Or you dodge 3 chains and do it after that.
