Lithe buff tho

The PTB will have the chase condition removed for Lithe. Simply rush vaulting will trigger it.

    I mean, i guess that's ok? I kind of liked being in a chase and being able to use it, now it just takes away the intense feel of the perk.

    Chase mechanics really suck, so this is probably a needed change. However, this does kind of rocket Lithe the best exhaustion perk position imo.

    I am not sure, balanced landing opens up many possibilities. No way lithe can be better than balanced landing imo.

    It is a great perk though, now I can use it whenever I want. Reaching exit gates, saving teammates, gaining distance and making the killer lose my track etc.

    This change was needed. I still prefer Balanced Landing over Lithe, but when using Lithe, it was really frustrating that I did not get the Lithe-effect, even when thinking I would get it.

    Don't get me wrong, Balanced Landing is amazing. It's really rough on some maps though. I've been running Dead Hard and Balanced Landing, but Lithe might replace Dead Hard with this change though.

    I run the Lithe and Dance With Me combo since months now and I must say I don't like this change at all.

    Now that Lithe will trigger after every fast vault I'm kinda restricted with the use of that combo. If a Killer was about to enter my area I'd fast vault to activate Dance With Me and hide and in worst case if the Killer still finds me, I'd proceed to loop until DWM is ready again and then bring the Lithe & DWM combo. 

    Now I can't fast vault any window ever again because it would trigger Lithe and waste the perk. 

    I don't see how people think this is a good change. It once again punishes well thought-through playstyles for the sake of the unaware and incompetent players.

    Lithe was not bugged, you just had to actually get into the chase BEFORE vaulting the window. The requirement to get in a chase are: Be in the Killers FoV and run away from them within a certain distance. It was not hard to understand but people seemed to struggle with it and now they made it idiot proof but ruined actually smart playstyles. 

    Sometimes you purposely want to fast vault a window to bait the Killer to come to you, this will now trigger Lithe so it won't be available once the Killer gets to you.

    @PiiFree Or just the killer choosing to go around the killer shack when you went through it was enough to "break" the chase and you'd be boned.

    I feel like "it got fixed" more than "it got buffed".

    Lithe was defiitely broken,it needed an adjustment.

    As I said, make the perk idiot proof to punish actual smart playstyles. It's typical for BHVR, they remove everything that requires some sort of understanding of mechanics and awareness.


    Curious how many of you guys actually used it? I've played probably 500 hours with Lithe, if people truly believe it was "totally bugged" I can asure you it was purely lack of understanding in 99% of the cases.

    I've used it plenty. Having it not trigger because the chase randomly dropped was devastating.

    That is why STBFL was so bad when it was initially changed before the current iteration. It relied on consistent chase.

    It can be argued that it's also a drawback to it... you can be wanting to bait the killer away from an area and accidentally use it or something...

    I love lithe! I’m really happy about this change. I remember times when I wanted to save my teammate nearly from death and I wish I could’ve just used lithe to get over there.

    Regardless I think it will require good timing now to try to get some distance from the killer now.

    I’m also glad it’ll work against a tier 1 Myers!! Finally!! :’^

    I really enjoy lithe. I hope this change ends up being a positive one. It loojs like it to me but obviously I won't know till I get to play with it.

    Aren't chases tied to the TR? With the new perk that transfers the TR lithe would be impossible to activate in a chase (I will edit this if I am wrong).
