Targetting by Killers and survivors

It amazes me how we turn a blind eye when the killer is working with a sandbagging survivor that is looking for the other survivor and rat them out in order to get hatch from the killer. The report system definitely handles it on the survivor side when enough proof is given. But when it comes to killers targetting and working with the sandbagging survivor, they go unpunished. We need to talk about it, because it looks like poor sportsmanship on both sides.

The amount of games I had like this in the past couple of days has been astounding. Survivors either abusing Bond to point out other survivors who are actually trying to play. Or the killer who decides to work with survivors who tried to end themselves on hook, and targets the ones that are actually doing gens and trying to progress the game... lovely "community" we have.

Yea. Literally had an ace with bond who ratted me out while i did 2 gens total on my own. And he didnt even move one bit when a nea was on hook. Saw him with kindred and i went for the save instead. I sure did report. Yet im sure killer will go unpunished because...its their job basically.

Does that really happen that often? It's been a while since I had this happen in one of my own matches but from the number of posts about this it seems to be quite common.

Regardless, it is a ######### thing to do. So you should report the survivor and they should get their punishment. When it comes to the killer, I'm not sure how to do deal with them. Because they supported unsportsmanlike behavior even if the didn't act in that way themself.

Yep, I wish I recorded my games then I would have SO much proof on both of those types of players. It's very frustrating.

IDK I just had my 3rd game in a row that it's happening. Might be an EU server thing?

I will say that this bothers me so much. I’ve had games where I’m doing so much work and the one survivor is just mad for no reason or because of something so small and they show the killer where I am. BUT I will say if there is a survivor who is clearly not doing anything, not unhooking, not healing, acting toxic towards their partners. etc. I will definitely point them out in the end game. It’s the same thing when you do all this work and then get on your first hook at end game and all my partners just leave when they are fully healed and have one strike or none. Unfortunately there’s nothing me or anyone can do other than the survivors that do these things.

I don't know about punishing killer when it's only 2 survivors remaining. It could be just that one survivor has hide whole game so killer wants to kill him because he throwed the game for survivors and don't deserve to escape. And if the other survivor shows where hider is I think killer should not be punished. But teaming when there is more survivors alive should be punished.

Oh nw, I didn't think that at all. I'm just wondering whether it happens more on certain servers/regions.

Hold on, let me see if I can... Nope can't find any F's left to give :)
