Thoughts on ds change in PTB

I think its pretty useless right now, no point in using it.

Even though you don't get to dictate that, I thought my opinion, while implicit, was pretty clear: the perk isn't useless.

I think it is because of PTB.

Players don't try to camp or tunnel people because winning is not important at all, killers want to interact with survivors. When the camp and tunnel begins in the normal game, you will be able to use it.

I always wanted a self borrowed time and I think the new DS is that self borrowed time that solos can use. The new DS is just like NOED imo.

Killers use NOED to ensure that survivors just don't rush gens and give them a secondary objective and if the survivors ignore and don't play around that, they will get punished.

As a survivor I will use Decisive strike to ensure that killers just don't tunnel me off the hook all the time and go after unhookers or other survivors, if the killers ignore and don't play around that, they will get punished.

It is far from being useless.

There a lot of threads about the new DS, but none with someone stating the actual changes. Can someone explain them to me, or post a link so I can inform myself ?

It's only active for 60 seconds after you've been unhooked, but activates with the pick-up animation (no dribbling is possible). Also, once you use it, you become the Obsession.

It is not useless @Orion is right tho

If you don't like it then don't run the perk, you don't have to run a perk if its no good
