PSA: Distortion does not work against Alien Instinct

Last two survivors alive, killed hooked the other one and my Distortion triggered but the killer still came directly to me from across the entire map. And yes I still had 2 charges left.

Distortion does work, survived so many encounters with Alien instinct so far. Still makes you oblivious but your aura is hidden
My guess is, lucky guess or the killer made a right read
If it was Xenomorph, probably saw your footsteps from the tunnels
