You know it's good killer when...

When you see them a lot.

I was not around at Knight's release but SM and Larry was almost nowhere in their first week.

But Xeno is everywhere. Almost all matches are against him.

Finally fun and good killer for both sides. My only problem against him is hard to tell if he charged his power or not. But probably the reason he is new , i will learn.

Knight was quite popular and I still see him from time to time.

Singularity vanished pretty quickly because his power was in hands of Survivors and that is not fun for the Killers to bother with him.

Xeno is for sure popular now, but I allready saw many different killers allready.

I think still Project W wins. When Wesker came out, you saw nothing than just Wesker, Wesker all over the days. And he is still since he came out the most played killer by far in the game.

I don't think Alien will be as popular as him once the hype ends. Wesker is not only stronger but has more fun power to use imo. And Survivors can't counter your chase power with turrets.

Wesker was more popular true. But after 3 flopped chapters, Alien is huge W for sure.

I am playing this game since 2018, a bit before the Legion chapter. Nemesis and Wesker are most hyped killers ever. And they were everywhere when they released them. I was not playing game when Myers released, maybe he can beat them, i don't know.

I played a ton of SM and Singularity releases and from experience i seen some skull merchants and almost no singularities on day of their releases. Alien, however, i've had probably 90% of games and i don't dislike playing against it. Solid killer for the most part not game breaking like nurse or blight but definitely up there near wesker, and huntress.

I'd say you know a killer is popular when they're played constantly on release, which isn't quite the same thing. The best way of demonstrating this is to point to Singularity; a well designed and decently strong killer that is unpopular because he's very hard to play.

Either way, semantics aside, Xenomorph does seem great. I don't have it yet, but I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on it asap!
