We deployed a fix to solve an issue preventing players from unhooking, healing or picking up Survivors. Players will need to reboot to see the change reflected in-game. Thank you for your patience!

Why is '59' fps an option?

Wouldn't it make more sense to add a 144 setting instead? 59 fps makes no sense when 60 is an option and is literally right below it.

    @Tatariu

    Some TVs run at 59.94fps, if you ran it with 60fps you run chance of stutter or screen-tearing if a bottleneck of frames happen.

    The science of Film-making and film projecting has come a long way, it is too complicated I wanted to try to make it simple and explain it, But its to make sure people with such systems can play the DBD without issues.

    If I recall DbD is actually capped at 120.

    as what emeal said stated above.

    however as much as 144 would be greatly appreciated, dbd's game engine is strictly capped at 120 fps. it cannot go any higher than 120, which means that the only way to receive anything higher than that is if BHVR changes DBD's game engine which honestly would be for the best.
