The sad reality.. Xeno mains prepare for the ievitable nerf..
Over the past days these forums, and youtube {I don't dare look on twitter, Xitter?} have been a non stop baby cage for the typical Survivor mains to cry, scream and throw all their toys all over the place because of the Xenomorph..
Finally we get a solid A tier killer with a decent power and very obvious counterplay, yet they still complain, 1 or two forum posts are no issue but now it's every other post, screaming for "NeRfS"
IK this is nothing new for survivor mains, if they can't outright bully a killer they will never be satisfied.. what worrys me is tuhe fact that the devs baby, and balance the games around these entitled survivors requests.
so in the coming updates i sadly expect to see..
"Reduction in hitbox value of the tail attack."
"Reduction in speed when tunneling as the Xeno"
"Turrets not only being more abundant, but also being able to apply a 3 second stun once they knock it out of it's power, and sace a survivor from being carried to hook."
These are only a couple of reactions or suggestions i have seen from these pro baby survivor mains.. Hell i've even seen "Make it so Xeno can't M1 during crawler mode!"
Again when a killer can't be outright bullied like EMP simulator, Survivors will demand nerfs and BHVR will deliver..
Unless it's a special case like Nurse, bc nerfing her would make her literally Unplayable.

I just hope they don't make him sluggish like other m2 killers or make him into second singularity.
They just need to revert him to PTB state and he'd be fine, minus qol and tunnel changes (turret aura revealed while burning you, +2 meter m/s in tunnels).

Dude, a massive percentage of your comments on the forum are just you insulting survivor players and complaining. Why you feel free to casually generalize people whilst constantly insulting their character is beyond me. Nobody in real life would tolerate being spoken to that way. But my guess is you wouldn't walk up to people and start mouthing off like that in person.

Relax. Devs don´t balance around forum nerf threads. Otherwise Sadako or MfT would have been already nuked.

Do you do anything except insult people

you sound like a fun person
nobody is gonna take you seriously with that obvious bias and us vs them

they dare ask for options in chase, it's not like there's literally a killer that got nerfed before just for the fact you couldn't react to his power at all even tho he was not even half as powerful as xeno before nerfs
and let's not forget wraith (an m1 killer) got nerfed (rightfully so imo) cuz by the devs's own words he was a "wee bit op"
i see no reason why this killer should he an exception when his kit has problems than either of these killers.
plus I wouldn't call it a nerf just revert the unnecessary buff they gave him , give him a cooldown before accessing tunnels at the beginning of the game ( like literally any other tp killer).

It's amusing you think complaints have anything to do with it. BHVR have their own stats they abide by. If a killer is underperforming they'll get buffed. If they're overperforming they'll get nerfed. If they're in a spot the devs are happy with then they'll stay the same.

The Tail Attack being way too forgiving was not only mentioned by Survivor-Mains. Also, it is not about being able to bully a Killer or anything (people who think that the vast majority of Survivors want to bully Killers have a really wild imagination).
But it is not good gamedesign when Xeno can use its tail without any punishment for missing. If the Survivor manages to avoid the attack, they should be rewarded. In this case by gaining distance, but you get nothing when Xeno misses with the attack. And this results in not being able to leave a Loops and eventually Xeno will hit or just use its M1 since it catches up.
When it comes to Turrets, they sometimes feel non-existent. At least the time investment on the Survivor-Side does not really justify the reward they get for moving around the turrets, especially since often enough one turret is just not enough, especially when Xeno is using Add Ons against the turrets. I had a game recently where at some point the Survivors did not put up any turrets anymore, because we needed to do Gens. And it did not really change the chases at all. This should show how ineffective the turrets are when you can basically ignore them and dont feel any difference.
IMO nerfing the tail attack to be more punishing when missing should be the first thing to do. And then we can see if more needs to be done, since a bigger punishment of missed tail attacks will make Xeno weaker in chase and also make the turrets a bit more effectice (since destroying it with the tail is a missed tail attack).
But currently, especially when compared to other somewhat similar Killers, Xeno is really forgiving. Whether it be that the ability is harder to use and more punishing (Pyramid Head) or in general less effective (Nemesis, third health state due to infection) or other Killers are simply slower, which leads to more punishment (Deathslinger having to reload, Huntress having to reload, both being at 4,4m/s).

Agreed about tail attack, it should be more punishing for missing it, but not as punishing for destroying a turret.
Also: as a Xeno, I see turrets like a "Time giver" for survivors to make distance, and power cancel If I somehow manage to wiff at turret. xD
Turrets giving survivors time to make distance, and it's a high risk of losing your power (as Xeno) if you try to ignore the turret.
Also, there is a bug right now that the game doesn't read your M1 on turrets sometimes, it's like you hitting a texture, and I'm not talking about moment when you just come out of a tunnels.=)

This is like sluzzy wannabe killer version now? Sluzzy was at least funny

Yeah , like killers are not complaining about survivor perks whenever new perks come out.
Complains for MfT is understandable but some people complained about garbage perks like Counterforce, Blood Rush, Overcome etc.
Like there was not nerf request for WoO, Adrenaline, Lithe, SB etc.
Yeah, only toxic survivahs are complaining. Killers are using forum for just guides, meeting with new people etc. There is zero post about asking survivor nerfs. True story.

survivor bad me angy >:(

Sadako had way more heat on her and nothing got change. The devs made slightly adjust xeno but nothing huge I'm betting.

"have been a non stop baby cage for the typical Survivor mains to cry, scream and throw all their toys all over the place because of the Xenomorph.."
If every single one of those gamers who have stated such things are "baby survivors" and you're finding yourself having issues going against them, because of some hypothetical nerfs your mind has created, then that's a skill issue on your side.
The Devs have repeatedly stated that they change (be it buff or nerf) around statistics AND what they want from their game. Meaning how they want their game to be. Not how the players want it to be per se.
Unless it's a special case like Nurse, bc nerfing her would make her literally Unplayable.
Lol. Like I said, skill issue. And that's coming from someone who plays both sides equally and not a hypocritical, presumptuous Killer main, crying about hypothetical scenarios.

Look - I'd agree that the forums are overreacting on wanting extreme nerfs. However I still would say the turrets need small buffs and I find it hard to argue against that. Most of the stuff the turrets need are quality of life stuff anyways. For example there are some maps and tiles you literally cannot place a turret where it would even be remotely useful due to the radius required to place one. That's even after it was reduced.
Personally I feel the Xeno needs a bigger penalty for missing the tail attack but past that I think the killer is solid. A penalty wouldn't even affect people playing the killer well which I feel should be the standard for most killers. If you play well you get rewarded and if you play poorly (Missing attacks constantly) you get punished until you play better. Even so - A penalty is debatable but I'd prefer any changes given to Xeno be prioritized on the turret.
Everything else about the killer is pretty solid and I wouldn't want to see the actual power level of the Xeno changed. It's in a sweet spot right now.

I'm saying this as someone who plays killer most of the time. The tail attack has a huge interactivity/counterplay problem. When I'm getting M1 hits by holding W at loops with zero mindgames because survivors are juking ghosts, that tells me there's not enough counterplay happening and players are just guessing.

The changes for Sadako prove wrong. The devs wanted an average killrate of ~60%.
Now if we take a look at nightlight, Xeno has 57% Killrate, so Xeno is perfectly fine in terms of kills. I dont think we will see as much changes to him than to previous Knight, SM or Singularity.

Still gonna like the killer. I dont have a problem with a weak killer. The sound and visual design is absolutely stunning. That sells it for me.

I just don't xeno to become another Hux. I love Hux but damn I cant play him more than one match bc of the emps and management of his pods. I'm honestly exhausted mentality after one or two matches as Hux. I made a few post on here about how I been struggling really hard with xeno. I went night after night with bad matches and felt like Im making no headway with xeno. Turrets are being an issue with me and missing my tail attacks so if they nerf his tail and buff turrets then I may have to quit trying to learn xeno and just go back to Legion or another killer I learned bc the time investment is starting to not be worth it for me. I cant even pip up on xeno :-/ Xeno is the first killer of my 1k hours that have made me record my games and plan to ask someone to watch them for advise on what Im doing wrong. He is the first killer I have found really hard to do anything on.
