Can't use a flashlight in my Survivor games and I'm too embarrassed to try at this point.

Lightborn is in all of my Killer builds.

So nothing at all has changed for me.

Nah. Flashlights are fine as long as they don't make you invincible.

As someone that mainly plays survivor, seeing the weirdos addicted to the flashlight have to actually learn how to play would be of incredible benefit. Next thing you know they'll actually start running perks that are good instead of wasting a slot on Windows of Opportunity.

The only time Flashlights bother me is when I'm playing at night. The sudden brightness when you get blinded is a little harsh on the eyes but that's more a problem with DbD's lack of accessibility options than it is Flashlights themselves.

They should just have an option to make the screen go dark instead of light during a blind.

no flashlight? The kill rates about to plummet..flashlights are better slow down than 90% of the gen regression perks

    OR...

Maybe the developers might balance the game around the time line that survivors can blow through gens when they have tool boxes + addons AND the motivation to do so.

one more reason to just sit at generators.

good for survivors, bad for killers

It's a no from me. Ok I can't use them as a survivor and the challenges in the archives bug me. But man, they're my favorite killertool. Sure, stand around waiting on the other side as I break this pallet. One less pallet on the map and 9/10 an easy hook.

can I avoid a flashligh save 90% of the time anyway cause of a wall? yes

in the other 10% can I just look and chase any potential flashers away? probably...

but honestly... yeah. it's so nice to not have to worry about it. (probably made me easier to get hit by a flashbang... but I'll take it)

If those kids that use a flashlight to just run around and never use them instead of being productive could read they would be very mad at you right now!

No flashlights = no survivors trailing a chase for a chance of a save = more survivors on gens

hard disagree. let people have fun and as a careful killer fl players are your friend. they aren't holding a toolbox and aren't on gens most of the time.

It doesn't make a difference to me because I'm not good at flashlight saves and my teammates usually can't/won't flashlight save.

But if you permanently removed flashlights, survivors would just bring stronger and better builds/items. And it gives them more reason tos it on gens. So I don't agree that the game is better without them.
