this is the second time since alien released where it dc's everybody, and it says "dedicated server..not responding" and then it gives me a DC penalty for it. why is it randomly just doing it now??? my internet is not the issue as I have stayed in the same place and had the same router and ethernet since 2019. the weather is not an issue either as it has been nothing but cloudy at night and blazing sunny in the day time.

im also trying to level up jake because female vaults are bugged rn, but i get literally zero points, i depip, and i get a DC penalty for the server not responding. how is this my fault?? i am literally going to go insane because im being punished for something thats not even my fault.

    Luckily not very often. Got this on PS4 and PC.

    I got the exact same error playing on Switch earlier, so it doesn't seem to be platform specific (I was playing killer). Never happened to me before today.

    Servers seem to be taking a crap (again) atm. Played several games where I'd randomly rubberband and ping would be fine, also have been queueing with a SWF onto a server where everyone (including killer), is over 150+ ping. The "dedicated server not responding" error is also starting to happen in the "looking for match" screen. Also just watched a content creator I normally watch and the server they were on crashed on them (their SWF) included. I give up complaining about the servers honestly. It's always "it's a you problem, not us".

    It's a server problem that's been around for a while now, though as of a few updates ago it's gotten progressively worse. Can happen in both low ping and high ping server connections, player platform doesn't matter. It kicks everyone from the match, no in-game trigger seems to cause it.

    I've also noted on multiple occasions that the game will throw me to a server across an ocean from me for no apparent reason. And even though the lag indicator doesn't show in the lobby, as soon as the trial starts it's just constant lag and rubberbanding.

    I'll have no lag or packet loss to any websites or other game servers I monitor while playing DBD, and yet will somehow still be completely borked in DBD.

    It's been reported several times, and discussed on the forum (as well as Reddit, et all). As someone already said, the only response you'll get from BHVR is that it's you, not them.
