My New Favorite Ghostface Build
Honestly Ive been having a blast with this one. Let me break down the build.
Ultimate Weapon
Ultimate Weapon is a really damn good perk, which it may seem like an odd pick for Ghostface but you dont use it in the early game, you use it to track Survivors when your power is on cooldown, it brings a huge amount of utility (for those who enjoy swapping targets a lot) since you can go from Survivor to Survivor getting injures or mark progress. It can be tricky to use, but when is amazing when used right.
Forced Hesitation
Forced Hesitation is probably my second favorite pick here. Survivors who are injured will typically take the down for a healthy Survivor that is exposed. Both are in a horrible position but they will take the risk of losing the injured Survivor over the risk of losing a healthy Survivor... why not get both? Forced Hesitation is 100% gimmicky, there are matches where you wont get much value, but this perk does have its opportunities to shine and can be great when it does.
(Though if you do not like Forced Hesitation, I can recommend using a perk like Sloppy Butcher to help slowdown the match and fit more into the hit and run aspects of this build. It also fits extremely well since the screaming will cause them to lose healing progress and give you a bit more slowdown potential.)
THWACK!
THWACK! is an odd pick considering that Im using Ultimate Weapon... but THWACK! serves a really good purpose being that it's effect is distance-based and does not rely on the Terror Radius. Because of this, THWACK! is an amazing information perk to use when Ultimate Weapon is on cooldown or if I am Undetectable.
Dark Devotion
Dark Devotion is another one of my favorite perks (it is the perk of all time, trust me). It has insane synergy with Ultimate Weapon, you basically put a pipebomb on the Obsession and everyone nearby screams in terror, I love it. Also this perk really fits into the playstyle of Ultimate Weapon where you go from Survivor to Survivor, it disrupts the normal flow of information and can confuse unaware players which can really benefit this playstyle.
I know this is 100% gimmicky compared to meta, but I would give this build a try if you want to try something different, who knows, you might like it, you might hate it, it might just be the build of all time, I just wanted to share this since it may distract from the negativity (that I will admit I was apart of) the forums can have sometimes.

That's ghostie. You can slap almost anything in him and make it work

Not necessarily but Ghostface can make a lot of non-meta things work compared to other Killers. Ghostface is just really flexible, kind of like Wraith.

I will try that build out just now. Truth be told, I actually hate Ghostfaces kit ... well, no, but I have terrible luck with his reveal mechanic and it always feels like every survivor knows that I am there and they reveal me with a glance, leaving me no power for most of the game. I know that its only partially a skill issue, because some of these dudes have eyes on the back of their heads ... but whatever, I will report back after a couple of games with your build.

For a Chaseface build, it isn't terrible. The problem is none of these play into Ghosty's strengths, or helps fill his weaknesses. As a Stealth Killer, you don't want Survivors to know that you as Killer know where they are, so that shuts down/weakens Ultimate Weapon. If you are in chase long enough for someone to come in for a bodyblock, you weren't ambushing, so that means you were wasting time, also shutting down/weakening Forced Hesistation. THWACK! falls prey to the same flaw as Ultimate Weapon, in that you don't want Survivors to know you as Killer know where they are. Dark Devotion is the only one I can understand/agree/defend. I think this is a decent build for a random M1 chase Killer, but does nothing to utilize any of Ghostface's mechanics or add-ons effectively, especially since there are no add-ons used. No mention of Drop-Leg Knife Sheath for a stronger chase, either Exhaustion add-on to shut down SB/MfT, Driver's License for gen slowdown, Iri Cam for Intel, or even a QoL "Philly"/Walleye's Matchbook. I'd almost think a Wraith with "The Beast" (No suppressed TR add-on) would make better use of this build, going after the Obsession when you want to lose TR for a bit. Alternatively the Pig with FH/UW used to hunt and down through bodyblocks head trap players on first hook. (Not second, because that would be a waste of the slowdown).
If you actually play Ghosty as a Stealth Killer I recommend a classic Lethal/PR/Floods/(Comfort pick, like Bamboozle for me because I hate Garden/Crotus windows). You can even swap out Floods for something like Gift of Pain if you bring the Iri Cam, so you effectively get 5 perks. Stalk 2-3 people to 99 off of the Lethal, then get the free down on someone unaware (if possible). Every Floods/Iri Cam proc is basically setting you back at square one, with the Floods/Iri Cam being Lethal essentially. Then you fall into a rhythm of downing people, knowing who will go for a rescue, and popping their 99 and downing them. If you get knocked out of power without a downable target, threaten pallet drops and burn the stronger pallets of the map if possible.

I forgot to list addons. Since Im still leveling up characters, I dont feel comfortable using addons too often since I cant afford to spend the Bloodpoints to get them back on that character, I rarely put or list addons in my builds as a result. Run any addons you want.

When survivors know it’s GF they have someone watching you. ID card is very essential. Collect them, and slap them on when you can!
