Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Twins: Why can't I switch to Charlotte next to a downed survivor?

Been picking up Twins lately as part of my pilgrimmage through the killers. I thought they'd be a pain to play having to keep switching, but they're actually pretty cool and way better/smoother than I expected... even though I'm on console.

I did figure out fast that I can't switch to Victor while Charlotte is next to the hook. Though a minor pain, this makes sense to prevent parking her in front of the hook to body block and possibly prevent general face camping (though I doubt it xD). With the upcoming AFC this might actually help Twins cause you can actually tell when you're in the radius 😆

However one thing that puzzles me is when I down a Survivor with Victor, I can't switch back to Charlotte until I have walked away a little...

I have really tried to think why this is the case, but I can't see a sensible reason... if I down with Victor, chances are I want to switch fast so I can make my way over to secure the hook... However because of how Twins work, I have to waste Charlotte's wake up time on top of Victor's recovery time (fair), then waste the time it takes for Charlotte to walk over to wherever Victor scored the down (also fair)... but I also have to waste another 3 seconds walking Victor far enough away for seemingly no reason...

I assume there is a reason... can anyone perhaps key me in?

Sometimes it works for me but with a long cooldown, i'm not even sure if its time based or distance based. And that is unironically the only thing about twins that seems to be consistant.

0.61% pick rate on Nightlight seems to be really inflated considering i only seen them once in like 5-6 months.

Ahhhh.... it is time based. I kept thinking it was distance xD

    Pounce:

    Cancelation Cool-down: 0.25 seconds

    Charge time: 1 second

It takes Victor 0.75 seconds of charging to reach his full Charged Movement speed of 2.4 m/s.

    Aura-Reveal duration: 5 seconds

This refers to how long Victor's Aura is revealed to Charlotte when latching onto a Survivor.

    Pounce Attack cool-downs:

1 second for a successful Pounce with latching on

5 seconds for a successful Pounce without latching on

3 seconds for a missed or obstructed Pounce
