Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

WORST map for Blight?

Hello. Recently I decided I wanna learn Blight and I've been having a blast. However there are certain maps in which the collision is either non existent or too strict. I only have about 20h of gameplay with him so I'm still learning how to work around these things.

In my opinion, Red Forest maps have the worst collision out of all maps, with trees and rocks being entirely slippery and random "dents" in walls that make it impossible for me to efficiently hug tech for exemple. Is there a de facto worst map for Blight out there? I haven't played in all realms yet due to my short playtime.

yamaoka or swamp. everything is butter on swamp, and the yamaoka trees are inconsistent so you'll go to bump one and just slide off sometimes but succeed on others.

The farm maps aren't great. Good luck finding things to bounce off.

    I understand your frustration.

That being said Blights worst map is still better than my Piggy's best map.

    So just power through bud!

Every time I try to play blight on Lery's it's an absolutely miserable experience. Plenty of stuff to bounce off for sure but my god do I struggle with the doors.

I have my troubles on Lery's and Haddonfield. Though I could probably deal with it, if I were to invest more time in learning Blight.

Borgo 100%, but red forest, yamaoka, lerys, haddonfield, swamp and sometimes corn are also terrible

I would say Lery's. There's just so many corridors that it makes rushing difficult. Same reason why Hillbilly struggles on that map.

Lery's is Blight's worst map. There are some maps with broken collision problems, but we can just avoid trying to M2 off those objects. We can't ignore how awful it is to navigate Lery's with Blight's M2 power, if the survivors are purposely stacking as many line of sight breakers as possible.

For us it's rotten fields and ormonds. We can't ever find things to bounce off when we need it on the field and we have slid off shack's wall before on ormonds and have since stopped trying to learn collision there.

Ormond is great for blight once you learn what doesn’t have collision.

Fields is super easy to run if you have a crow or vial.

Blight is still monster even at his worst maps. So it's really does not matter at this point.

But worst maps are probably Lery and Coldwind.
