Do Survivors still hate playing againts Alien?

Since he got fixed with his tail movement speed and also nerfed on top of that, do people still complain about Alien?

    I haven't gone against Xeno for more than a week now... But whenever I play as Xeno I can tell survivors aren't having the best time around loops.

    I have a theory that Xeno's tail hitbox is kind of bugged at the moment though. It feels off since the nerf but people assume nerf made him unplayable even though the nerf didn't involve his hitbox and just the miss-hit penalty.

    I cannot react to the tail hit. When I'm playing vs huntress or PH there is a short windup where i can try to dodge or mindgame. Vs Veno i just go down, it is instant. But probably I'm just bad and i don't get the counterplay

    Is there a counter against the tail attack? I tried crouching to no avail.

    Crouching won't help it's not like Nemesis whip with a hot box that's lingers and can strafe left or right. Its more like a spear or a rock tied to a sling. Fire the spear above the obstacle and move it down so the spears head can hit survivor on the other side.

    I enjoyed playing against him even with the tail being stupid. Now the slow down is fixed I have zero issues.

    The only issue I have is that the turrets still do basically nothing half the time, even if properly placed. Other than that, I think Xenomorph is fine where they're at now.

    turrets being so useless are still a thing.

    not saying that they need to be at "singularity emps type of power but they need a bit of a buff / rework" not to mention that xeno also has one addon that literally makes them useless to the ground.

    I still find him very unfun to play against. I'm just not a fan of his design to the point where I might put him in my bottom five killers to play against. Although I don't think he's ridiculously OP anymore.

    He's still not that fun to face, but he's not as frustrating as before.

    Turrets are just unfun for both sides imo. They are slow to set up as survivor, and whether or not they work feels like it depends more on the killer's reaction time to them (or whether or not they're running one of the many addons that make them significantly weaker) and not the survivor's skill. If turrets fail to remove Crawler Mode, then as survivor it doesn't feel like you have many other options at times because the existence of turrets means the chase power has to be more oppressive than most other killers (otherwise there'd be no reason to play Xeno) and so the tail attack often creates lose-lose situations. On the other hand, if the turrets do work and you lose Crawler Mode, then you are an m1 killer with no power whatsoever which doesn't feel great either.

    I do love Xeno's tunnel system though, I immediately thought that was cool as soon as I saw it. And no other killer has anything like that.

    I enjoy playing as them more than I enjoy playing against them. I find too many team mates not bothering with turrets, which is a let down for other team mates in chase. I always set up turrets, not just for me but for my team mates too. So it sucks seeing none on the map.

    The minor nerf didn't change what was the awful part of playing against xeno. So i really doubt anyone most survivors opinions changed.

    The tail is bugged and they got nerfed. Recency bias did it's work.

    It's sad to me that we didn't even see the buff live due to the bug,befire it got nerfed.

    It's also very sad to see this killer that was so anticipated not being played anywhere near that much.

    I, for my part, will still play Xeno a lot. I love the tunnel system and the sound design.

    Very interesting how few Xeno posts there are lately. Only the cooldown has changed. The power itself didn't. Almost like people spammed posts because it was new and popular.

    One thing I hate about Xeno is multi floor maps, because the turret spawns can be really unlucky.

    If you wouldn't move at snails pace while carrying the turret, it would be a bit better, but as is, it's just a nightmare to use them

    Don't see him that much anymore. They got everybody to buy it and then made it less strong (as I said they would). Onto the next OP DLC killer, get your wallets ready.

    get ready for increase the number of xenomorphs after the release of ptb, because then the reason why they don't play it now (the bug with the tail hitbox) will be fixed.

    Nah, I'm not buying chapters anymore. If it looks good at launch, it won't be good by next month, that's the BHVR way. Besides, there aren't any other licenses I care about.

    I thought it was crouching on opposite sides of dropped pallets and vaults but that doesn't work. People say theres a wind up noise or something but I never hear it.

    Crouching behind a dropped pallet shouldn't work, because if the survivor is crouched on the higher side of the pallet, the killer can just be on the lower side of the pallet, so the survivor is at a diagonal angle, and a lot of their survivor is visible to the killer. Below is a picture, to show how much of a survivor is visible, if the killer is positioned correctly...
