New RANKING System is complete BS
So as you all know by now the devs decided to change the current emblem system. A good idea on the whole considering the number of times I play against boosted swf who can't even look behind themselves. But after just experiencing a really good game with the new killer Plague, I have to say they might have gone too far. I got 4 kills, 11 hooks and they only managed 4 gens. The game lasted about 12 minutes. But guess what: I go to the end game screen and look at the emblems... Devout and Malicious are iridescent but then Gate Keeper was silver (even though it took them 4 minutes to do one gen) and Chaser was BRONZE. The new killers ability allows her to damage survivors without hitting them but it does not count as a hit towards your Chaser emblem. So I guess 2 iridescent isn't bad and then I look down... I DIDN'T EVEN ######### PIP!? This is complete bullshit. I fully completed by objective which is to stop survivors escaping and I didn't camp, tunnel or do anything like that. I am at Rank 5 currently in the PTB and the devs also made it harder for higher ranks to pip. I get that the ranking system needed changing but I really hope the devs do not implement this system the way it is.

Chaser seems to be the biggest issue as far as the emblem system goes. They need to fix whatever is going on with that first, then we could actually see if the new ranking system is good or not. At the moment though, it seems awful because pipping as killer (or at least as The Plague) is ridiculously hard. I also think needing 10 hooks for an iridescent emblem in higher ranks might be a bit ridiculous but again, I can’t be sure about anything until the Chaser emblem is fixed.
