Is Broken Bulb flashlight add-on good?

I only just noticed that broken bulb has the biggest increase in blindness duration, but what i am wondering is if the flashlight flickering affect is purely cosmetic or it actually makes it harder to blind. Thanks.

  Nope, nothing changes. It is purely cosmetic.
