My 2 cents on the Plague

Short: Shes weak

Long: Here we go

1st, her vomit is actually pretty balanced, though could really use some add-ons remaining to charge time and ESPECIALLY distance.

2nd, as a general complaint about the sickness, it spreads too easily but is not detrimental enough. A killers power needs to be able to slow down gen progression. Being sick, aside from being broken doesn't do much because of the number of fountains around the map.

3rd, The vomiting is induced on survivors is countered by calm spirit, making this perk way too good and a definite top pick against her.

4, It is too easy for survivors to cleanse themselves of sickness, yet not worthwhile as the plague to use the fountains; the corrupt version lasts almost no time, you have to break chase to obtain it, and survivors know when you have it and become immersed.

Her perks are decent, nothing amazing. The one that blocks the gens at the beginning is ok, but tells the survivors that they are far away from you at the start of the match, and is only useful for 80 seconds at tier one (hey that's still 100% longer than Ruin!), and has absolutely NO use for the rest of the game which makes people wary of choosing it when top tier Enduring and BBQ last the whole game.


My solutions:

1) Fountains are not shown to or usable by survivors unless until they reach a certain amount 'devotion' (gained from altruistic actions). The fountain does not instant-heal you, but it does give you 50% healing progress and vision of the killer and all other survivors for 5 seconds as compensation.

2) Survivors do not infect objects they come in contact with. The sickness can only be spread by survivors healing each other. As compensation for the killer, at any level of sickness, survivors suffer from 'symptoms'. 4 levels of symptoms occur the longer the plague goes untreated. These do not increase while in a chase or on a hook

A) Fever (50 seconds of sickness). 20% smaller skill check zones, slight vision impairment

B) Delusions (90 seconds of sickness) See fake pallets, 10% debuff to vault speeds

C) Hysteria (130 seconds of sickness) Do not hear the heartbeat, vomiting slows your movement speed to 95% for a second.

D) Death Bed (170 seconds of sickness) Cannot interact with windows, pallets, or lockers. 98% movement speed

3) Pools of Devotion can be held onto for later consumption. This includes a longer animation of bottling the vile purge at the Pool and a later animation of drinking it at the desired time of use

4) Some add-ons should be changed to reflect these ideas

A) (uncommon/rare) increased vomit range

B) (Very rare) lets you hold 2 corrupt purges

C) (Common/Rare/Ultra Rare) decreases the time needed for Symptoms to grow/makes symptoms more powerful


I think these additions and reworks would make her top tier
