Big events in dbd are pretty much temporary blight nerfs.
I've been on a break from dbd for a couple months but at least in my killer lobbies the server is slow, my survivor games have felt fine but I have not checked ping until these last couple blight games.
I just have to wait .25 seconds extra on each bump, it was like this during anniversary as well. Guess I'll skip playing killer during this event too.
I guess at the very least this will let people know they have a bit extra time to work with after each bump.

Because he is the most fluid killer in the game with the highest skill ceiling and the most fun for me. I hard limit myself more than 95% of killers at least. I get it, you hate blight based on your previous posts/replies but the killer minus a few overused/overtunned add-ons is bar none the most interactive killer in the game. Although you probably don't really understand much about blight so I understand your strife to an extent. I mean 99% of killers are not good at the killer so how can I expect you to know much about him?
This post is not a post to garner sympathy but to let people know that blight as far as I know is exclusively the only killer who's power is directly tied to the server. A blight with bad ping and/or the servers are running slow due to a large influx of players means the blight receives a far larger detriment than any survivor or killer. A survivor's ping also means timings on hits change. 200 ping on a survivor requires a completely different timing on a shoulder flick.

But yeah, I 7-8 hook every game with 0 tunneling and or camping. Regardless of add-ons I use, I get literally no flak ever.

I mean maybe? Every blight player I have every played against besides one running iri tag was completely terrible. Most people just try to run alch ring or c33 and play like garbage. First game I played as survivor in the event was a trickster tunneling me out after he lost 3 gens in the first chase with me. Most killer players are scummy in some way, blight just has a potentially disgusting power level that attracts people who are new or have ego issues.
But yeah, it's not blight you hate. It's either his 4 add-ons, his supposed attracted players or you lack of understanding.

I also only play S+ tier killers so Blight or Nurse.
But highly prefer Nurse though, Blight just feels wrong with addons like legit cheating

No, your actually a weirdo. Everytime you speak to anyone about blight it's alch ring this, alch ring that. I think alch ring is op, your just beyond a hater of a character that is essentially the superior to your own.
Hillbilly has slightly more mechanical skill required to play him at peak compared to blight. Blight requires more knowledge than anything in this game. Hold the L. "oh but billy curve" yes you have to have mechanics for that, blight has to know all collision and instantly recognize the collision around any played tile. Your outdated, overnerfed and clunky killer is nothing by comparison.
IDK why I am responding to you actually. Every single thing you say to somebody with an argument is alch-ring abuser even though you have no idea, thus I muted you months ago to not implode to a person so salty about the fact their killer got gutted XDXDXD.
Can you please give responses that aren't I hate blight? It's really depressing to try and have a conversation with somebody and they give some generic response that a ai made by a 12 year old would say. I gave you a large paragraph and you responded the minute follow-up.
I mean nurse is far easier and her power is terribly designed, blight on the other hand just has the best add-ons in the game which can be changed easily. If you feel the add-ons are cheating then don't use them, or if you want to use the add-ons don't use perks. I have played around 30 nurse games and guess which single game I lost?

The funny part of killer players is those who play for fun, they would play low tier killers because its really kill doesnt matter for them (I main Trapper and 2nd to Myers, Spirit but mostly meme with her). Those who play only to kill will use high tier killers with no mercy in sight.

Blight got one of the highest skill ceilings, that means his rushes. If you can't hit your rushes, where is the benefit of this add-on?

Once you learned Blight it's not that hard anymore. But you can't put Alch ring on a newbie and expect to destroy his opponents, why? Because he don't have the skill. Alch ring only makes good Players stronger.
C33 on the other hand really doesn't need any skill to get value.

Except I have been through many mains, I stayed away from blight for a long time. But I watched lilith omen do some wacky stuff and picked him up. If I wanted to slaughter people at the start of 2022 I would have committed to nurse.
I don't like basic m1 killers at all because they aren't fun for me whatsoever. I enjoy more skill expression than what those killers allow for.

Mmmm that’s kind of a bad take. Blight is substantially more fun than any m1 killer. There is infinite depth to his power. I play for fun, and blight is the most fun. I just happen to be very good at blight, and it can easily come off as “sweaty” or “try hard” when I’m literally just chilling and having fun.
I just have a couple thousand hours on blight ALONE…

you should post this in the “bug reporting” section of the forums. I hope this gets addressed because from the sound of it, it doesn’t sound pleasant at all. I mean i main Spirit so i have no idea how blight works 100% but when the sounds don’t work properly which is most of the time….i know the feeling.
anyway hope you enjoy the event! And don’t listen to those who claim he’s oP and whatnot, jeez it’s like the Spirit debate 2 years ago it’s annoying 🙄

Unfortunately I don't think this is fixable. The servers are simply not capable of handling the amount of players that come back to the game during these events and they slow down. I'm fine with blights power being tied to the server like this normally because it means he doesn't get an advantage from ping, but when it's like this I just can't play him. Like imagine if spirit or huntress has to wait an extra .25 seconds to activate their power, it would feel so clunky. Then blight has to do it for every bump.

No they wouldn’t they would play who they find fun regardless of their tier. I main Ghostface because he’s fun, I don’t care if he’s low tier or high tier I’m gonna play him cause he’s fun.
If someone finds Blight fun then they should be allowed to play him. Just like how you play Spirit because she’s fun regardless of being high A tier.
If someone wants to have fun they should play what they find fun. If someone doesn’t find Trapper fun they shouldn’t have to play just because kills don’t matter.
Yes those who play to win will probably play high tier killers, but not everyone playing Blight plays to win. I see just as many, if not more, sweaty and toxic Trappers than I do Blight.

Yep, they play like their families lives are on the line. Last night we looped the living jeebus out of a bunch of them. Boy did they get mad, guess they're not used to that...
I don't know why all of them I've come across have this ego issue, it's creepy and sad. They need hugs. Or something.
