What’s happening with the LATAM server?
Hello everyone:
I would like to know what is happening with the Latin American server (server that is in Brazil for the whole region). I play DBD every day, sometimes in the afternoon and most of the time at night. I play normally with 90 to 130 ms (yes, it's annoying, but I live in Chile and there is no other server for the rest of the continent). Something even more annoying is that almost every day at night the server does not work properly and everyone in the game has lag, I play with up to 230 ms and it's horrible, the killers hit me from a ridiculous distance, the interactions take a long time to start to be done (start an unhook action for example). It's horrible, what's wrong with the servers? I play with friends and the same thing happens to them, everyone in the match has lag! I’ll post screenshots if necessary.
- I know the killer is the host and I understand that if he is lagged then everyone is as well, but I ask the killers if they have lag and they say no, and they’re from Brazil so it’s so weird…

The killer is not the host, and if he is lagged not everyone is. That was when the game was p2p, now it has dedicated servers.
So, if everyone is lagged then more than probably there is something wrong with the servers themselves. If not, probably your connection.
