How many games have you "thrown" trying to get Release Them All?
As the title says, how many games (so far) have you guys thrown trying to get this stupid Haunted Tome challenge of releasing 3 haunts in a single match? If it wasn't mandatory to get enough points to complete the event, I'd skip it. This is seriously making me angry, especially as I seem to be the only one in the matches even bothering to try to enter the void. While I am trying to do so, the survivors are "gen rushing" I hate to use that term, but in this case it fits. I am trying to gather points and open void rifts and POP POP POP POP POP BANG escaped. Even if I do hook some of them and get points that way, it really seems like a lost cause a most players are "done" with this event and don't care about it anymore.
EDIT: I did finally get it on my 7th try, but I had to play in a way I find very not fun. We all have our own ideas on what is fun, and I don't care so much if I get a 4K, as long as I dont' depip. Well, that game I went super sweaty to make sure I got the ful bar of energy to dominate the void as someone suggested, and the only way I managed to salvage any fun out of it was tryng to let Jill Valentine go, but she depositing some void energy after she realized I was letting her out, and then didn't get the door open in time to make it out... she died to EGC in the exit gates... :(

Not that hard. It's rather easy to get a full bar, but finding the time to go in the tricky part, so just go in the moment you see them open and you can just claim all 4.

They're not gen-rushing, they're just not focusing on the event objectives like you are. If you're not chasing them because you're focused on getting haunts, then they have nothing else to do. I haven't reached that challenge yet but is it one you can do as either survivor or killer? If so then do it as survivor.

Yes, I realize that, and its even harder on survivor because as I am trying to gather the energy, I'm dead before I even get into the void half the time. It's just a very poorly designed challenge especially so late in the event when so many players are "done" with it and many didn't like it to begin with.
As I said, I usually don't use the term gen rushing, but my point is that nobody seems to care about the event anymore and this challenge very much relies on all 5 players caring about the event.

It's hard when you're the only one caring. The times I have not put in energy they don't open. I mean either I'll eventually get it, or the event will end and I will miss out on the last 4 items. We'll see. I am up to 6 tries now though.

Okay, I did finally get it on Lery's but only because as I said, the survivors were the ones actually opening the portals, I was being rather more "sweaty" than I like to be to make sure I'd have a full bar BEFORE The survivors opened the portals... assuming they did. But really, it's a very annoying one to try to do when you are trying to just have fun and not be "sweaty" now, what you as killer find sweaty can vary of course, but in my eyes what I felt I had to do to get that challenge done was in direct counter to how I enjoy playing the game.

I got lucky and got it on my 1st try. Only Halloween challenge left is knock down 12 Survivors

None kill 2 surivors have a full bar wait for the void to open and deposit

So tunnel out 2 survivors. Yea, see that's not something I find at all fun. Which is part of the problem of a lot of challenges, though is not by far the worst.

You don’t need to tunnel, just play normally until you are in a position that you know you are going to win the game and then go and release the Haunts.

Where did I say tunnle you could have everyone on death hook just have 2 dead 1 alive they will have hatch 3apive they will slam gens

I was lucky and got it the 2nd try. Not wasted anything just let others open the Void.

I just played killer normally, and then after i killed 2 survivors i went around and got orbs until the bar was full then opened it up and did it real quick.

on survivor you don't even need to throw games to do event stuff. i full cleared the void twice but lovely dbd servers got shut down, next match i could do the challenge again.

I also got pretty lucky with this, but I feel like you do need a match where most people are putting energy into the void, because if you have to store up everything alone it's too difficult.
