Would you say Corrupted & Deadlock is must for Trapper?
Since you need some extra time to set up some trap(s).

Corrupt for sure. It's a must have for a few killers, but an absolute must for Trapper, imo.

I almost always run Corrupt on Trapper but that alone is usually enough for me. You don’t need both that AND Deadlock. Though I guess you can run both if you want to.

Yes. Set-up time is better now but both are still needed.

I'll admit to not having tried it before, but Corrupt Intervention on Trapper seems counter-intuitive to me.
If people are running away from where they spawned, they're more likely to run into you while you're setting up, and if they manage to get any gen progress it means the untouched gens are the ones explicitly as far away from your setup as possible.
Maybe I'm missing something with that, though.

Both for sure.

My issue with Corrupt is my same issue with PR, the benefits it gives to me is just not worth it.
Corrupt will only last until I get my first down, and only if I get one in its time frame. I can run Lethal Pursuer instead to get a chase and down going quickly, and combine it with another aura reading perk to bolster that perk.
Pain Resonance is only useful 4 times, and Deadlock is only useful 4 times. Jolt/Surge at least break gens multiple times.
Trapper to me is a snowball Killer. I have to get my momentum started quick and keep it going. Im not saying my build is the greatest in the world, but I tend to get 2-3 Ks a match running Surge/Jolt, STBFL, Lethal Pursuer, and than Nurses Calling/Alien Instinct. I also like to swap out Lethal and the Aura perks for NOED and Ultimate Weapon

Since trapper's trap logic was recently changed, I find running corrupt is no longer necessary.

Corrupt is never good on Trapper for me.
It blocks Gens away from you, where survivors spawn. If Gens blocked, survivors will run to you, seeing where you set traps. Im willing to lose 2 Gens to let my 5-6 traps not being seen. Snowball may come itself without effort if there is some luck.

I use both to the Trapper.

Agitation and corrupt is mandatory in my opinion. The rest is whatever

I say Endgame Trapper is the way to go. Let them do those gens, and punish them for it later.

Nothing is a must.
You can use what you want.
If you want to stay competetive, then yes I would say corrupt is important for a killer that has this slow of an early game.
Deadlock is a bit of an autopilot option. It gives you value regardless of what you do. If that's your playstyle, go for it.
My build is Stbfl, dark devotion, face the darkness and surge.
Works fine so far.

Basically you're using Corrupt to set up the area you want to defend. You can either set up traps in the non-blocked gens or in the blocked gens depending on the gen layout.
If you go for the non-blocked gens then somebody will disarm your traps but if you run Iri stone the traps will reset themselves but the survivors often won't realize that since you probably won't be anywhere near the trap when it resets.
I generally use Corrupt to set up traps in the blocked area as it's tight for time but you can get a good web set up before Corrupt ends and I then defend that area. I use Deadlock just in case my target area is a mix of blocked and unblocked gens so my target area remains defensible.
Without Corrupt I've found that I'll quite often be down to 1 gen left for the survivors to finish before I finish setting up my web.
