I suspect this release will actually be an original character since the last 2 releases were licensed. But if there were another licensed survivor without a corresponding killer, who would it be? Maybe Jesse Faden from Control? Or Alan Wake?

Honestly I'd love it to be Jamie Lee Curtis (who plays a ton of video games), but that would be weird with Laurie Strode also being in the game as a separate character.

I don't want another actor/actress honestly.
Nicolas Cage was good but this should not be form survivor chapters. They still can get a lot horror legends by survivor-side. We are missing a lot legendaries.

I also think that it is most likely the same with Pinhead and Mikaela. So I would expect a original Survivor.
But aside from those you mentioned, The Walking Dead would also be a license where a Solo-Survivor would make the most sense.

If they added Adam Sandler that'd be pretty funny

Elvira may be an unusual fit. Someone who made their livelihood within the horror era and an icon of the 80s within the industry. Could do way worse than Elvira!

Meryl Streep.
One of her perks would be called Emasculation. The effect would be that she verbally dresses down the killer which immediately breaks chase and removes haste effects. Chase can't be resumed on that survivor for 3/4/5 seconds.

Agreed, I think Adam Sandler's presence in a show, or a movie, or a video game, is ultimately more funny than Adam Sandler himself.

I love the comedic characters and personalities of Kristen Wiig and Julia Louis Dreyfus; also Jane Lynch. imo, they all have great potential for fun dialogue… although, they and most of the ppl suggested in this post probably wouldn’t do it anyway.

So far, Helena Bonham Carter and Karen Gillan are the best choices I've seen.
I'd love to see Elvira added, but that's a character rather than an actress.

Best I can think of is Uma Therman.
But I'd rather not have any more real-life people in DbD...unless they somehow convinced John Carpenter to be a survivor. I think that's the only exception I'd make.
