Fun Tactic when exit gates are too close as last survivor
Since bhvr thinks its balanced to have gates spawn where killer can just stand and look at lights in one spot (or just walk a few meters, midwich always) Usually (like others) I would just hide in locker or mess around across map from gates until time ran out (or just let killer end me).
I just did a new tactic which is also satisfying if you want to try it. Sneak up on the killer from a distance then mimic exactly what he is doing, looking back and forth at gates, moving back and forth looking at gates. BTW this isn't holding the game hostage as there's a timer (yeah i can use that excuse too like slugging bleedout timer)
What do you guys do besides try to light prep/open gate?

I did the latter once before. Just stood next to the killer as they could see both gates from one spot. They didn't see me the whole time lol I just watched with them

This + Diversion, keep throwing pebbles in random directions and laughing at them when they turn to look.

I try to sneak up on them and use the point gesture to poke them in the butt.

Hahaha Yeah, I do this all the time😄
Usually find the high ground: Midwich, Haddonfield, Father Campbell’s Chapel etc., and just watch them pace back n forth like a desperate goon (or simply really determined). It’s fun when they meme w me a bit, but most just relentlessly pursue like murder robots.
I never patrol exit gates, it’s a pathetically easy and silly thing to do, imo, but I understand ppl want that 4K.

I'll have to give this a shot sometime it sounds fun lol. What I do normally depends on how the match went. If everyone was slugged or tunneled out early and I got no points then I may go around breaking totems and opening chest to get some points in for the heck of it. If the killer was playing in a way that I think is nice or fun, regardless of how many points I got, then I'm going to just run to them and let them decide my fate. They didn't make my time feel wasted and I won't waste theirs.

Look for unopened chests, hope for a key and keep an eye out for the closed hatch.

I've only once ever managed to successfully loot a key and escape through the hatch after it was shut, but it was incredibly satisfying.
