Why does it feel like the official DBD Twitter is only used for marketing purposes

? They post all the important information and more, it's just that there's new cosmetics more often than there are new chapters.

    Two reasons, imo.

    1. It just straight up is. Modern marketing is in your face, all the time. Can't blame them for playing the game.
    2. Cosmetics come out more regularly that updates, so they're posted about more often. Whoever runs the twitter will often answer questions, which is more than some other devs do, but I'd put this more on BHVR's slow update schedule even more so than marketing.

I mean, other than the important announcements (that are posted there), what else is it really meant to be?

The official twitter account of a game should be expected to post important announcements and marketing information on new sales and new content. That's what the DBD twitter account does, so what's the issue?

Have you seen DBD Twitter? If they involve any further than the poor employee running their social media better hopes that their insurance covers a broken soul.
