The anti camp mechanic is extremely flawed. Video proof
Here's a video of a blight camping both hook states and I never even made it half way with the anti camp bar. How is this not considered camping? It seems to me that this mechanic is flawed & needs stronger reinforcement to punish this play style.

I don't see a video but I agree it's an extremely flawed solution that doesn't really work, it was basically made with basement bubbas in mind and nobody else.

And it doesn't even work in that regard when he can just stand at the top of the stairs.

It's meant to give survivors a chance back into the game if they get facecamped. It's not a general measure against camping

It doesn't even work against basement bubbas, they now just camp the stairs / entrance of the shack in order to fill up the meter slowly.

Its an anti FACE camp, not anti camp. The idea is so Killers dont just stand in kissing distance, but can still proxy camp. Its the same reason mechanic gets disabled when all gens are done, Killer doesn't have much else to do at that moment. Agree it sucks that happened, but Survivors routinely calling this an anti campung thing are wrong cause thats not what it is or ever has been.
