What killers would be awesome if they just had better add-ons?
There are quite a few killers in this game that have the potential to at the very least be quite good, but it's that they're held back by their own add-ons. They're held back by terrible add-ons that do nothing to enhance their gameplay in meaningful ways. Many of their add-ons are just are number changes in the wrong places, or they're just gimmick add-ons that are niche and useless. Then there are still killers who are dependent on one add-on to even feel playable.
It's highly unfair when compared to killers who do have decent add-ons. The biggest criminal of course being Blight who is barely getting his broken add-ons addressed.
Notable killers with poor add-ons are Nemisis, Pyramid Head, Singularity, Ghostface, Hillbilly, and some others I can't quite think of but they exist.

If any killer had the creativity in context to their killers kit as much as blight, those killers might have a solid foundation for skill expression. Remove the power level of blights add-ons from your mind, just think about how unique they are from eachother.

Demogorgon. He is maybe the only killer having brown addons better than most of the yellow ones, most of the green ones and most of the purple ones.
Pyramid Head. Most of his addons are trash, the red and purple ones are a joke except the Iridiscent seal which is not that good considering it is a red addon.
The Knight. His best addon is brown. 😕

Nemesis, DoritoHead and Freddy have like the worst of the worst.
Followed by knight. This fella NEEDS map of the realm and somewhat call to arms. Also other addons ate literally detrimental.
Also, Ghostface have good addons. How is bad blowing with your mind and 40 meters away 20% of a gen? Or less CD in your power or instarecovery after breaking a pallet/wall. Even iris are good.

The problem with the Knight is more his dependancy on low tier addons than not having good addons. If he could get some os his addons basekit, would be amazing.
I wish BHVR adress this soon, since the Knight is a killer which can be Very good with minimal tweaks
Edit: About topic: Freddy, Pyramid and Nemesis are the killers who needs the most an addon pass. Also, i think mostly of the B and C tier killer could have some of their addons basekit, at least partially (like Clown with his bottles)

Deathslinger.
His Add-ons are all duplicates, besides the Chains and Iris, most of them barely see much use and if they are used there generally doubled up so they have an effect or need to be doubled up to be useful. Compared to some killer's that have singular add-ons that do the same thing, usually better, with a power that make's the add-on effect much better and here's Slinger needing 2 add-on's to get a weaker version of singular add-ons. Also 2 different add-ons to apply just Mangled?

Slinger just got and insane 0.5% buff to two of his best addons. Super oppresive aiming speed, faster than blight with that 0.5%.

Knight also have quite a lot of bad addons.
Browns are literally detrimental (but MotR).
2 green are mangle and hemorrage on guard hit aka never.
Carnifex and jailer purples are meh,assassin its cool tho.
And yeah yellows are very good with horse dried meat and call to arms.
Point is. Not top 3 en need on addon pass but he could have a little love.

I bring up Ghostface because of his reveal add-ons. They're extremely gimmicky and his best add-ons are still his browns, though thay doesn't mean some of his purples and iri are bad either.

Browns are not detrimental, but thought around another playstile (camping areas or 3 genning)
The mangled and hemorrage ones could be merged into a single one.
Carnifex purple requires some playing around this addon, but can be quite strong if many pallets are dropped
The jailer purple just need some tweaks on it numbers and will be one of his best.
Knight dependancy on Browns and Yellows is what stop most of us in experimentating with his other addons. Maybe in a near future Behavior can give Knight a addon pass.

Browns:
Gritty Lump : If they run faster they will leave the spot you summoned faster (Where a survivors should be).
Tattered Tabard: If you miss landing a guard +8 seconds before summon other. If you land it succesfully, does nothing.
Pillaged Mead: Carnifex already break stuff instant so isnt needed. Jailor and Assassin block gens and pallets 1 second less.
Map of the Realm: Our lord and saviour, thanks god this addon is brown, i would cry if this was green or above.

With exception of Pillage Mead, i see Gritty Lump and Tattered Robes as addons designed to camp or hold a 3gen. I'm not saying they're good addons, but I'm saying their intent seems to be to lock on an area for a long period of time. Imagine the old Call of Brine + Overcharge meta and you want to put your guards to patrol a 3gen you are defending.
I would i use them? Never. But i understand their intent.

The Executioner would be devastating, given add-ons which are actually interesting and varies.

Freddy is actually pretty solid. He’s the only killer you can learn to play without being dependent on add ons. If the player is asleep Freddy can shut down certain loops. Plus Freddy can fake teleport. Then teleport as needed. Freddy’s utility comes from whatever perks you use in conjunction with his powers. Like Crowd Control, Blood Favor, and Bamboozle.

Clown is the WORST killer in the game. Clown is a worse Freddy. Due to the fact that any Haste perk a survivor can have like MFT or Hope makes the Clown’s power obsolete.
All of Clown’s add ons should be reworked. So that when he hits you with a bottle something should happen, or increases the effectiveness of what the gas does. The fact that only his Red add-on does this is dumb.
Make his add ons apply penalties from hitting players with bottles. Even certain bottles. Additional screen distortion. Apply effects like Exhaustion, or Deep Wound if you hit wounded survivors. Hitting players with a bottle removes Clown’s red stain for the struck player for 3-5 seconds.
Give him some utility and mind gaming options while rewarding him for hitting players with his bottles. You literally get an add on that makes confetti pop out when striking a player. Like, what??
Chloroform and Hartshorn should increase the amount of time the Clown’s gas lingers. Instead of increasing the spread (Pointless). It needs to linger for him to attempt a mind game, or force survivors away from strong areas.
Lastly… The Clown shouldn’t SHARE his **** bottles if they reduced the total amount! Maybe 4 purple, and 2 yellow (That’s stretching it). Each button lets him throw a different bottle, but he can only chuck one at a time. This would buff his feather add ons to make them remotely useful. As it speeds up the succession of tossing instead of him having to switch between and then throw.
The more bottles he has less of the longer it takes to refill them all simultaneously. So Clown still has to gauge when to refill, and not chuck his bottles haphazardly. The Purple add on bottle grants 2 more purple tonics, and yellow add on grants 2 additional more yellow tonics. For a total of 10 bottles. 6 purple, 4 yellow with both add ons.
Clown has no options. No pressure. Little to no chase options if the map layout is favorable for survivors in any sort of way.

Nemisis. I'd love to see an addon that lets you hit 2 people at once or a pallet and person at T3, or just make it basekit for T3. I also want some slinger addons changed lol. The movement speed ones should be changed to faster ads, and faster zoom out. Also making the wardens keys .5 seconds again would be great.
