How's this fair? (3 gen on Garden of Joy)
You say 3 gens can be oppressive if killers play to defend them and wanna do something about them, yet you release a map where gens can spawn like this?
This Artist had Overcharge and did nothing but go back and forth between the gens, kicking them over and over while chasing us away until there were no pallets left in the area. The game lasted 40 minutes until the person decided to give up and kill themselves.
Undocumented, but it was actually a 4 gen, because another gen spawned next to shack, but didn't get to take a picture of it. We managed to get that one done, but she had these 3 left to protect. She never left that area, because why would she?

Aaa... I'm not gonna lie, I've never seen these 2 gens so close on GoJ before. This might be a bug.

Ey now GoJ is bad on both fronts...yay. if you chase it literally is still the safest map in the game. If you have regression. The games over if you lock that.

These things should be noticed at the beginning. The team can make one or two gens disappear while the killer is elsewhere chasing survivors. But it is very strange... especially those 2 on the right are very close to one another.

It was noticed from the beginning with my Deja Vu, the issue is that she noticed it too. She did nothing but chase people away, maybe hit them with sloppy, then kick the gen 5% with Overcharge, which my solo queue teammates kept missing, so she kept getting a free 15% regression from every kick. She never left the area because she knew she didn't need to, she could bore us into giving up instead.

You should have waited it out until January when they add solution for 3 gen

Honestly the solution to 3 gen is better map design and placements while keeping map size in mind, but that would take a lot of resources for BHVR so we'll most likely get a penalty on killer side for holding them. Hopefully it doesn't do anything against killers who don't hold them all game and survivors rushing into one.

I think they touched gen spawning logic when touching the map. 5 generators spawned on that side, one spawned in main building and one spawned on the side of the main building, near the God window.
Other than the 3 seen in the pic, the fourth one spawned outside of shack opening and then the fifth spawned at the car and pallet loop next to the jungle gym. So 5 gens on one side and 2 on the other. She had like 3 different 3 gens she could've chosen to protect

Wouldn't it be nice, if BHVR reworked GoJ? Yeah, I really wish they'd do that.

This is something I've been saying about maps like Sufforcation Pit and Azarov's Resting Place. Weather the killer intends to or not, some maps indirectly force killers to play the 3 gen because of map sizes. It's like being a Goalkeeper for both teams which isn't worth it.

I'm pretty sure anyone could hold this with half the killer cast without perks, and the rest of them with perks as long as survivors don't have gen perks/toolboxes

and the only ones who will be failing to hold this with gen perks are trapper tier btw. Potential Energy is not stopping this artist or a nurse

Trapper could hold that 3-gen too. Heard of basement trapper? Same concept.

Trapper against 4 survivors with gen perks is not holding that. Survivors would split the two furthest gens, play safe and run main/shack every time, you cannot commit or ensure your traps there are not disarmed. There are no choke points/entrances to this 3 gen that Trapper can trap like he could with basement.

I've noticed about 2-3 weeks ago, that gens seem to be spawning closer to one another than usual on ALL maps. I even had one match on Azarov's resting place where there were two gens on the lower half of the map, and every single other one at the top instead of the usual 3-4 split with one generator in the middle section. I'm convinced BHVR tweaked the generator spawn placement algorithm and it seems that in a bad way.

Tbf it is GoJ and I do not blame killers for just dcing etc on this map. That said, wow that is a bad 3 gen.
