Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

How many SWF teams are like that?

SWF, if played optimally, breaks the game. That's a fact that has been proven by these cringy tournaments over and over again.

In that case, yes. Killer has to deal with more bs. But survivors also have to deal with a ton of bs. This goes from solo teammates to your regular pub stomping blight (looking at you @HugTechLover).

It's always good to play both sides to see all the stuff both sides have to suffer through.

I think however, that many parties suffer from the power trip that is a strong 4man swf on comms.

I purposely tank MMR just so I can get the stompiest stomp ever seen in pubs. If it’s a challenge, I don’t want it. 🥰

Does it work? With MMR being as broken and weird as it is?

    Ah, I see.

My MMR is always messed up, to be honest. Either I get really easy games, or really hard ones where the survivors are clearly better than I am.

Something weird is going on with mmr right now. A little bit ago, every game was stacked with good survivors, and my killers games got super tough. They had said they raised the soft cap, but I started getting low skill survivors again, despite my kill rate never changing.

But low mmr hasn’t changed at all. My friend that is at the bottom of the mmr consistently gets matched with super low hour killers and survivors. I always love swf’ing with him.

Is DBD the only online game that the community wants good players to be "punished"?

    That's amazing

A strong SWF is most likely any group which beats the Killer player, who claims that SWFs are too strong.

The reality is very, very few are that dangerous. A lot aren't interest in being super-powered. Some do it "for the memes", some do it just for a social and some even play their own game of seeing who dies last, deliberately screwing their fellow SWF players over in a rather strange party game!

It's a better idea for people to spend less time complaining about how the opponents are unfair and more on looking at what they themselves can do to become a better player.

Everyday I will suggest BHVR just to put a small icon on top of players if they're a SWF or not.

Toxicity in this game would drop dramatically if Killers and Solo-Q knew they were going against/teaming with SWFs. It really would.

Bear in mind, a 3 man swf squad can be just as devastating, but the fact of the matter is, most SWFs are just friends playing with each other, not teams trying to be a competitive death squad.

SWFs certainly have the power to be completely unstoppable, but people that organized are few and far between.

I will still maintain that one important advantage of swf is the ability to relay information especially perks and add ons.

I was in a 3 man yesterday against a pig and took the first chase. I noticed Obsession Switch on basic attack and called out Game Afoot to my team. The first gen popper shortly and I once again called out Rancor to my team. At this point it was pretty obvious to me that the Killer was running an end game build so the remaining two perks would be NWO, No Ed or Remember Me which turned out to be true.

Eventually we got a two man out because the random 4th player made a mistake at the endgame and got mori-ed out first.

In another 4 man swf game, I noticed a Legion running Legion Pin and relayed it to my team and how to counter it. The Killer got no more Broken value from the add on for the rest of the game.

While it is not game breaking, things like these can tip the game slightly in the Survivors’ favor
