    Are the servers struggling for anyone else? Just played a game with ridiculous lag, just like how it was for two weeks during the Christmas break last year. Probably even worse.

    I had this issue from october to november.

    I tried everything to fix it myself including resetting my pc and using a vpn, etc.

    I think the problem is the game has low tolerance for losing connection.

    I played overwatch and fortnite and i noticed in both of those games there was moments i was losing connections and the game temporarily became unresponsive but i never lost connection completely.

    So i think the thing with dbd is that it has a short timeout and low tolerance for losing connection so that if you have unstable internet connection you are likely to be disconnected.

    I think the "Dedicated server is not responding" message is very misleading because it implies the server crashed but i've been in lobbies with streamers and when i look at their stream i was the only one who disconnected.

    It was fixed for me when an engineer from my ISP came round and adjusted my setup. Replaced the microfilter with a new one, added an ethernet cable from the router to the TV box to reduce interference and installed a wireless booster.

    I no longer have the temporary disconnects in the games i play either.

    That's what fixed it for me the problem and solution might be different for everyone who has this problem but i do suggest trying out other games especially one that has a network debug UI setting.

    I hope whoever has this issue can get it resolved. I was honestly getting upset when nothing i was doing was working and devs were appearing to ignore me on the issue.
