Killer - The Harlequin

Killer Data

Name: Anya Gur

Overview: The Harlequin is an unpredictable Killer, able to appear anywhere without warning. Her personal perks cause disorder and can break down coordination of even the strongest groups of Survivors.

Speed: 4.6 m/s (115%)

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Height: Medium (outside of chase) / Tall (in chase)

Power: Make Your Mark

Make Your Mark is divided into two parts:

Primary Power: Eyes On You

The Harlequin may be wild and unruly, but she's far from prepared. By holding the Power Button, the Harlequin looks down a monocular, viewing distant areas of the map in incredible detail. Survivors in her line of sight for more than 1 second are revealed by Killer Instinct for 6 seconds and gain 1 level of mark. Additionally, the Harlequin is able to mark Survivors whose auras are revealed to her through physical obstructions. Survivors are not notified of their detection.

While looking down the monocular, the Harlequin moves at 3.4 m/s, and cannot attack. It takes 0.5 seconds to return to normal speed after lowering the monocular.

Survivors can be marked up to 6 times, and all marks are removed upon entering a chase. The following effects are applied to a Survivor at the start of a chase, depending on the number of times they've been marked.

  • 1+ marks: Shown by Killer Instinct for x seconds, x being the number of times they've been marked.
  • 2+ marks: Hindered by 5% for x seconds, x being the number of times they've been marked.
  • 3+ marks: Unable to perform any actions for 1 second (as if shocked by the Doctor).
  • 4+ marks: Hindered by an additional 5% for the duration of Hindered.
  • 5+ marks: The Harlequin becomes Undetectable for a number of seconds equal to 5x the number of times the Survivor has been marked.
  • 6 marks: Exposed for 6 seconds. Any Survivor within 4 meters of this Survivor until the end of this duration are Exposed for 12 seconds.

Secondary Power: Caught Out

Once in her sights, there's no escaping her.

While using Eyes On You, the Harlequin is able to hold the Active Ability Button for 2 seconds to teleport to the point she's looking at through the monocular. A map-wide sound queue is played when the Active Ability Button is starting to be held, and a visual indicator appears where she is about to teleport to. A 24 meter radius sound queue in the form of the Harlequin's scream plays once the teleport is completed. This is able to be cancelled by letting go of the Active Ability Button before the 2 seconds are completed, but puts Caught Out on a cooldown of 8 seconds.

If looking at a Survivor revealed by Killer Instinct while using this power, rather than the Harlequin teleporting to the point she's viewing, she will teleport 8 meters behind that Survivor.

After teleporting, the Harlequin is slowed to 3.4 m/s for 1.5 seconds, after which time she returns to normal speed. Or, if she teleported behind a Survivor revealed by Killer Instinct, she is slowed to 1.7 m/s for 1.5 seconds instead. This has a cooldown of 32 seconds, which is reduced by 4 seconds each time a Survivor is marked using Eyes On You.

Add-ons

  • Increases the duration of all Eyes On You mark effects by 1.8/2.2/2.8 seconds.
  • Reduces the time to mark a Survivor by 0.2/0.25 seconds.
  • Increases the Harlequin's movement speed while looking down the monocular by 0.2/0.3/0.4 m/s.
  • Increases the Harlequin's movement speed after teleporting by 0.3 m/s. Lengthens the time it takes for the Harlequin to return to normal movement speed by 0.1 seconds.
  • Reduces the time it takes to teleport using Caught Out by 0.5 seconds.
  • Marking a Survivor reduces the cooldown of Caught Out by an additional 1.5/2/2.5 seconds.
  • If the Harlequin marks 2 or more Survivors within 1 second of each other, she becomes Undetectable for 30 seconds. During this time, no alert is given that the Harlequin is preparing to teleport.
  • If the Harlequin marks 2 or more Survivors within 1 second of each other, she gains 10% Haste for 10 seconds. During this time, movement penalties applied by Eyes On You and Caught Out (except when teleporting to a Survivor who's revealed by Killer Instinct) are not applied.
  • If the Harlequin marks 2 or more Survivors within 1 second of each other, all Survivors marked in that time are marked an additional time.
  • When the Harlequin begins a chase with a Survivor who is marked, the Harlequin gains 10% Haste for 5 seconds.

Iridescent Add-ons

  • Iridescent Scope

Your eyes pierce through the fog itself. When you stare into the fog, it stares back.

You can mark Survivors revealed by Killer Instinct through physical obstructions.

Survivors who have their auras revealed, OR are revealed by Killer Instinct, gain marks 100% faster when not behind physical obstructions. When a Survivor reaches 6 marks, the Harlequin's terror radius is doubled for 40 seconds.

  • Red Twine

The last sign of the control you used to have.

When the Harlequin begins a chase with a Survivor who is marked, all pallets within 16 meters of the Harlequin are blocked for 10 seconds.

Perks

  • One Man's Comedy, Another's Tragedy

The world laughs, not recognizing the tears behind the curtain.

Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, One Man's Comedy, Another's Tragedy gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.

Each time a Survivor vaults a pallet or window while another Survivor is Hooked, the following effects apply:

  • All Survivors not in a chase have their auras revealed for 1 second per Token.
  • The Hooked Survivor(s) lose 1 second of their Sacrifice Progress per Token.

This perk does not activate while the Killer is within 16 meters of a hooked Survivor.

  • Depreciation

All things lose value with age.

While a Survivor is repairing a generator, other than the first one they performed the repair action on, that first generator regresses by 25/35/45% of that progress.

If a Survivor is repairing a generator that would be regressing by Depreciation's effect, the speed at which they repair the generator is instead reduced by that amount.

"Even if you succeed here, you'll find that you'll fold." ~ Anya Gur

  • Hex: Gut Connection

Everyone has a reason to fight someone else. All they need is a little push.

Each time a Survivor is rescued from a Hook when you are at least 32 meters away, Hex: Gut Connection activates:

  • The Rescuer and rescued become bound. When one is put into the Dying State, the other takes 1 health state of damage if they are healthy, or are inflicted with Deep Wounds if they are injured, and, regardless of their health state, scream and reveal their current location to you for 4/5/6 seconds.

All effects of the Hex Perk persist until its Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed.

"I wonder what the hell she thinks she's doing?" ~ Anya Gur

(Yes, this perk allows Survivors to injure each other by using Plot Twist)

Survivor - Viola Castro

Gender: Female

Role: Romantic Revolutionary

Perks

  • Bullet Taker

You failed to be there once, and that was one too many failures.

When another Survivor is in a chase within 40 meters of you, and you are not, their current location is revealed to you.

When you take a Protection Hit:

  • The Survivor you took the Protection Hit for is granted a 5% Haste Status Effect for 5 seconds.
  • The Killer is Hindered by 5% for 5 seconds.

All of the above values are doubled when that Survivor is injured.

This has a cool-down of 100/80/60 seconds.

"You, get the hell out of here!"

  • Sucker Train

When another Survivor is injured, Sucker Train activates for the next 10 seconds:

  • When you start running, break into a sprint at 200% of your normal Running Movement speed for 3 seconds if you are running in a 60 degree cone toward that injured Survivor, or 150% of your normal Running Movement speed for 3 seconds if you are not.

Sucker Train causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds, or 40/30/20 seconds if your average Running Movement speed from this Perk during its duration was 170% or less.

Sucker Train cannot be used when Exhausted.

  • Valentine

When you heal a Survivor for the equivalent of 1 Health State, Valentine gains 1 Token, or 2 Tokens if you healed the Obsession.

Each time a Survivor is Unhooked, 1 Token is consumed and the following effects apply:

  • Increases your Action speeds in Healing, Unhooking, Cleansing, Blessing, Opening, and Unlocking by 50% for 3 seconds per Token.
  • Reveals the current location of the Killer to all Survivors for 3 seconds per Token.

Valentine has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

When the Obsession is sacrificed or killed, Valentine freezes at its current Token count.

Reduces the Odds of becoming the Initial Obsession of the Killer by -100%.

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Very interesting concept. Harlequin seems to be quite intricate and demand a bit of skill to play, but rewards it.

While Viola looks like natural counter to her – I like this duo.
