imagine if we get a spider killer and a survivor that exterminates bugs but fails to kill the big mommy spider? It gives me the creeps just thinking about a big hairy spider and seeing her 8 big red eyes shining in the dark.

Yeah, but it followed the LNs so can't really complain. I feel like most people just didn't like the fact that it covered so many differ POVs. Either way though... Scary Kumoko in DBD would be cool.

Honestly, with the experimentation of Killer varieties recently in terms of size, shape and movement, I wouldn't be surprised of an arachnid Killer isn't already in the works!
If I was BHVR, I'd release something like that on an anniversary show. That would be a heck of a way to kick off the new year. Maybe the Killer before that will again be a non-human Killer, but it would maintain a relative humanoid appearance.
Whatever may be, I reckon a non-humanoid Killer is way more likely than it used to be.

Just by size and length of the legs alone, a big spider with massive legs wouldn't be able to fit through door frames or crawl through windows.

I can't see them ever adding a full-on spider killer due to how many people are terrified of them, but a Drider-like killer maybe could work.
